The stare hindi - taktaki Written by -Raghuvir sahay and translated by him too Theme- poet describes the social crisis that are ignored by the people alive Context- here the dead man is only staring at the bald heads( living people), ex - incidents like torturing women for dowry is not unknown to anyone in this country, people watches the suffering of woman but they still choose to stay silent, this is a satire on how people become today, People nowadays see bad things happening but instead of raising voice they choose to remain silent coz apparently its not a big deal until the same thing happens to them, The stare is like a dead and silent machine gun which cannot fire- here the poet says that the deads can see all the bad things happening but they certainly cant do anything about it, poet uses the word machien gun as a critique to the dead society The dead is conscious about the crisis but the living heads are ignorant, bald and dead - as they behaves like dead person, symbolic and metaphorical expression of poet This satirical language makes the poem more ironic, deep, powerful and ideological
