My parents own a grey parrot. He has been living with us for over 20 years now but i never saw such things on him. Is this something only a few species grow?
@All-Parrots14 сағат бұрын
They all do but it can be more subtle on some of them

Since they’re sexually dimorphic, I’m really curious what a female would look like. I’m assuming it’s a similar mutation to what turns green budgies and other parrots blue but I have no idea how that would translate with a red female

Your tone makes it seem like the bird is holding a gun to your side saying "you better say only good things about me 🤬😡"

Its great bonding if you do help with pin feathers they do it for each other in the wild
@undecidedmajor1664Күн бұрын
A warmish bath helps. Slightly above room temperature. My conures pin feathers were hard to scratch with my relatively big fingers. When she scratched her head with her foot it would take care of all the ones that weren't on the nape of her neck
@deistar1063Күн бұрын
What do you feed her for a treat reward??
@All-Parrots22 сағат бұрын
Whatever she’s in the mood for. They key is to use the treat that works and not just what someone else uses. I usually test the motivation beforehand to see if the treat I anticipate using works that time. And if it doesn’t, I either try something else or try a different time.

My bird is very nervous I had him for a month but he gets really scared by us and shakes when we talk to him in the cage . Why?
@All-ParrotsКүн бұрын
Parrots are prey animals and naturally more fearful. It is very important to take things slow and gradually let them get used to us. Don’t make sudden or loud movements and most importantly don’t chase. Be sure to subscribe to follow many more of my parrot training videos.
