nicely built units, but they lack in the electronic circuitry. No local decoupling for the 7+ output opamps and the headphone out is mediocre. Edit: the headphone output is just a standard njm4556/4558

@@2ChannelAudio Currently I compare those players: X33ES, X505ES, CD304, CD630 and CD850. All of them are reasonably modded (up-to-date Opamps and Capacitors, the CD850 got a clock mod). The CD304 beats them all in listening tests - such a nice natural representation of voices and the very low registers, its unbelievable. Of course, modern DACs (mid-high Topping, SMSL) are way beyond all of that.

All the tests were done via headphones over the integrated output. All the HP opamps were replaced by OPA1622 with the circuitry adapted to suit them (decoupling, output resistors ~10Ohms).

I recommend taking an interest in the B 2102 MOS VINTAGE model. Once upon a time I accidentally bought this model and it is still my best amplifier. even Accuphase M-8000 performed poorly in comparison

Thanks, yes Mki. This video is recorded with very old firmware version. But I updated it to Sunlight already, it is a massive improvement with Sunlight.

Go staight to wav file, in conversion from Flac there is loss in the signal depending on internal chip.
