god this man was so bad in any sort of interview. if he didn't blow up with his music he would've been a nobody for sure, loathing in his own self misery. i mean with the music he could at least use that as his muse. which got old pretty fast, but hey, it was the style back in the day.

Who else remembers reading about this in Spin Magazine in 1994? I cut this picture out of the magazine and kept it for years. I always wished I could been there to hear it. And here we are. Someone actually caught the audio. I can't believe it.

Courtney sounds exactly like me after ive been singing for 3 or 4 hours. I have Singers Nodes on my vocal cords which give my voice a raspy sound that gets raspier the longer i sing at one time. I sing like Janis Joplin by the end of the nite. I had considered having throat surgery to have them removed by laser. I get really sick and tired of losing my voice for 2 or 3 days after Ive been singing alot. But ALL of my musician buddies said "NO!!! DON'T DO IT!" They all said they loved my raspy voice and that i shouldnt fuck with it. They also told me about taking steroids to help instead. So, i havent had the surgery and i do like the way my voice can be smooth or raspy as hell. Its my uniquely original sound and im glad i listened to my friends. But i cant help but wonder if Courtney has the same issue?! I have LOVED Kurt's version of this song for years, but now after hearing this, i can honestly say i Love THIS VERSION BETTER!!! Maybe its because Court sings it like i would! Whatever, its just fucking STELLER!!!

I LOVE THIS ❤ !!! Ive never heard this duo version before but it totally kicks ass! I thought Kurt's version was the end all be all version til just now, hearing this! OMG! Its FUCKING AMAZING! Court sounds like me when my voice is just about gone. After i sing for 3 or 4 hours straight, my singers nodes are completely irritated to the point that my vocal cords are barely touching each other. Thats when I channel Janis. I always save "Me 'n Bobby MaGee", and some Alice in Chains for my last songs. I can't wait to start singing this with Kurt and Court! Honest to GOD, she sounds exactly like I do by the end of the nite! So COOL! My new FAVORITE SONG!

Kurt Cobain was a genius who often like to sing at the edge of his vocal range. He did it a lot as an artistic statement these comments are idiotic from people that probably weren't even alive during his period and can't understand what their hearing

Courtney is a horrible singer. Trying to be like Kurt which would never happen. And she was 100 involved in his murder!

Aww he looks like such a baby in his home video 🍼. I'm a newborn too. That's what they tell me. I'm the baby. That's why this town has taken all the affordable housing off the market. I'm supposed to sleep in my crib in some guys house. That's why my teeth are falling out too. Getting ready for my adult teeth. I'm still eating baby food to. Smashed bananas and other soft food. Gotta grow big and strong like my daddy tells me. . That's the joke in this town. I've been painted a child. Not allowed a home unless it's under somebody else's roof. Because I'm a baby. Isn't that crazy. Took all the housing away and tell me to go back home. Three years ago. Been living in a ditch every since while people drive their cars right over my honking and walking past me like I some drunken bum in a gutter touching my vehicle while I'm sleeping.
