How did you get the heating element on the replacement cover

We just bought this, as there is a discount on it at Costco. We haven't broken it out of the box, but i would have likely found out about the punch point the hard way. Thanks for this heads up!

Could it be that your water valve solenoid is going bad? Not closing all the way and causing the water to drip and freeze in there, maybe?

Thanks! We have to remove the radiator and in order to do that the battery base has to come out and we were using that to hold the stick to hold it open. So, this will help a lot. Thank you.

Do I need goggles when I used the bolt cutter?

Works like a charm. Mine had a bunch of sticky junk on the bottom of the screen. I don't know if a glue in the original screen melted or someone spilled a sugary drink all over the screen at one point. The original touch screen stopped working when it was hot. At night for a few minutes it worked until the screen light itself heated it up. Now it works like new.

We all know what the price is for a new system 😢 So in my case I order the new touch and some tools from Amazon for the dashboard. Today I fixed my media system plus . It's working like a new one and that for the price about 25 Euro. I say it again ,thank you so much Sir. Best regards from Germany

Great tuturial I kept having to come back to see how you did certain things like the clips, and thanks for the 'clip releases easily' comment as this was very helpful. I did have to open mine back up and loosen a few screws and make sure the screen had no pressure as when I first put it in there were pressure marks in all 4 corners where it was tight.

I get the same results without the expense and the added pollution of the bleach. I use 5 gal buckets filled with about a third of water and then using a drill with a paint mixer sized for a 5 gallon bucket and a couple of minutes a day within 3 to 4 days I have a bucket full of oatmeal. Throw an old bath towel on the ground, pour the oatmeal on it and in a few days, ready for the garbage, Carbon capture and security at it's best.

Is this a digitizer replacement

After 6 years of restarting my radio daily, it decided to start power cycling today. I've read all over that this is the fix for it even though the dealership is saying the only option is to replace it (and of course quoted me over $2200). I'm going to give this a go, so thanks a bunch for sharing this! Even if it doesn't work, $20 is well worth a try.

I bought a brand new cordless Dewalt saw and we used it once for osb sheets and it's out of alignment for sure or my shed isn't square. Now I'm needing it for 5/4 decking boards for my front porch and it's set too deep. I'm an older widowed woman with no patience so here I am searching for answers online...😢

I think that this video could be misleading because it doesn’t point out that your moulding is identical on the inside and outside of the frame so the door will still fit (and close)properly even when you flip and slightly move the hinges so they open the other way. Many door mouldings aren’t like that. Also you show how to put on bigger hinges for about half the video, which is irrelevant and confusing because it implies you need new hinges. You skip the part where you make a new hole for the locking mechanism to go into on the frame entirely. I bet some people will watch this, then go out and look for “outside opening hinges”, come back with something, fit them to the door jam then realize the door won’t close properly because the door frame is only designed to stop the door on one side, and it’s possibly too shallow for the thickness of the door or to bore out the hole for the locking mechanism to fit into.
