Wouldn't the extreme heat from re-entry on the starships metal structure and particularly all those welds, distort or weaken it. Re-using, refurbing, or achieving expected launch cycles will be affected. But I think they will figure out solutions - amazing talent there!

You don’t measure success in the number of trials. Other ventures have just as many trials they just aren’t public about them. I don’t agree with your sentiment that they are failing too much. It’s the fastest iteration of technology we have witnessed. And the FAA has only slowed them down.

I was personally on both rally's ..the only thing that feels different is group B felt like it can go faster and faster yet today even with some better results it feels like cars are on the limit..i wish my eyes were the camere to show some scenes of group B and the adrenaline was passed on to the whole crowd..it was absolutely insane..also in that time people were driving slower cars, today it's regular to have a sedan with 300 hp at the time it was more like 70-150hp so at this time you would need a flying cars to get to that level of excitement in the crowd to see a fly by like at the time..i was more then sad when they banned group B.. I cannot imagine what it would turn to today, no limits just teams out performing each other..it was mental at the time, that was the time when cars got into a lot of brains that never intended to have interest in them..

a wrc would never be faster duo restrictions.. these b rally cars where so light and high hp. power weight ratio where insane... if group b would exist today they would learn to tame monsters with over 1500hp.. and drivers in that time where like crazy as hell
