She deserved all 5.9 across the board. She landed a triple-triple in the 2nd half of the program. Even Witt and Thomas didn't have this kind of explosive jumping or the technical arsenal that Midori had. And you knew she was only going to get better from here.

I wish a lot of modern skaters would look at her leg position in her layback spins and stop cheating with their legs.

I hope she wasn't trying to explain to Japanese media why she didn't get a medal during the interview at the end of clip. That would be cruel.
