I have verybfond memories of volenteering for summer camp for youth group for church. I always took the teenagers no one wanted to work with lol. I love teens! And my favorite summer beverage is now iced hibiscus tea with lemon. Im looking forward to summer cross stitxh camp this year. I have always felt intimidatied changing colors to my preferences.

Looking forward to summer camp. I am working on the “fruits of plenty “. MFE. I had put it away for a bit, but am back to it. I see so many motifs that would work for the challenge!! Anything iced: coffee, tea and maybe a gin and tonic every once in awhile 😅. Very hot here in Texas during the summer months which have already started for us!

For the June camp challenge, would a variegated thread such as Sulki or the DMC variegated be eligible for making a multi color into a mono color or does it need to be a solid color? I drink the True Lemon mixes in Wild Berry.

I do email and comment on some videos and that's it. No Facebook or Instagram or anything. But that is ok. I can follow along with my stitching and that is enough for me. I am boring as my summer drink is Iced Tea with no sugar.

Hello Sheri, I so do love your videos, you have such beautiful stitching, and such creative finishing ideas as well as lots and lots of very valuable knowledge, I went to girl guide camp , but only once even as a child I liked my creature comforts and sleeping in a tent and using portable loo was not for me.

So looking forward to Summer Camp, I have to up my summer inspired stitching, I have tried rhubarb lemonade and it is delicious and refreshing.

I am going to join camp, sounds fun. My favorite summer drinks are unsweetened ice tea with lemon or cranberry clementine seltzer.

Right now my favorite drink is hibiscus iced tea with simple syrup that I add orange peel for flavoring. I am excited about stitch camp. This is a great challenge since I struggle changing colors when I have a certain color that I really don’t like in a chart.

Lots to think about from your video. Beautiful finishes and the idea of exploring color in Cross Stitch Camp is excellent. Our refrigerator always has a pitcher of sun tea made from a flavored herbal tea like strawberry, watermelon, mango, etc. No calories, no caffeine and a nice refreshing taste. I volunteering at a camp this summer for special needs children. It's lots of work but lots of fun. Favorite beverage for summer is a drink I buy at Sam's Club. Strawberry lemonade (sugar free). Enjoyed the video!
