So sorry for the lost of your brother. May he Rest In Paradise. Thank you for his service. This is a sweet tribute. And to the person who did the video, very good videography.

I share a duplex in Santa Fe with Desi who is Navajo/Lakota/15% Irish. We always check out the films at Indian Market and will look for you there.

MANY years ago my friend and I climbed the ridge at Shiprock. She was using a cane and she wanted to see this before she couldn't walk. She started singing "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever". I didn't know she could sing. One of the highlights of my life. :) I've been in New Mexico over 40 years. I opened the Vanilla Moose in Aztec for my mom. It's been there a long time.

Would be amazing and an honor to have the film showcased there in Santa Fe. Hopefully good fortune comes our way for the screenings and festival runs! Many blessings!

@@silvereagleproductions And Blessings to you also. Spirit suggests I recommend the Book that Desi's Aunti wrote about being "adopted" by Mormons at birth along with Desi's mom, the other twin. It's a small book and google will give you the story outline. Desi has a unique human story. Her step dad was a wealthy Italian who was a Fed bank inspector. Desi is a Bridge between Realities/Culture. There were about 5 different times that I would talk to the Aunt about why I am there. (Another good story) and I would sense the room fill up with Ancestors. I would cry uncontrollably. Deep sobs but not mine. We will pray that someday we meet you at Indian Market. :)

"Finding Helen. A Navajo Miracle" by Rose Johnson-Tsosie. It's about finding her birth family in Chinle when the Church sent her to the Rez as a Missionary.

Just curious if this was just for the Navajo people to participate? Wonderful tribute.

This particular Trail Ride was held on Navajo Land and sponsored by a Navajo family. It is not necessarily Navajo only as many tribes and people and organizations have trail rides for one reason or another. There are some elements of this specific ride that pertains to the Dine people according to tradition and beliefs but it can be a great general tribute as well.
