How precise does the adjustment need to be on the spool valve? I have a 996 with the hydraulic arms not going down im pretty sure the spool valve is the problem although I don't have a manual to tell me the settings and im scared if i take it out the I could mess with the adjustment.

I own a 3/45 since June 1970,it still running but I got a lot of problems with the original engine, I had to replace it by a renew engine of 3/42 :the original was mouthing but a mess, anyway the hydraulic and the frame were quite good for working with a fork. The Carrosserie is still good looking, this machine is my companion since 51 years. Bonne chance avec le 3/45 et encore toutes mes félicitations pour la magnifique restauratio !!!

ive just done this on a 690. you need to make absolutely sure that the long arm that hangs down inside the box from the control levers goes back in the right place or the rear arms wont lift up!
