I just stumbled across this video....Funny thing is, I just finished installing the same items about 3 weeks ago....Same Black Rally 1 piece HardTop, and same Town and Country Stow n Go seats (But, Black Leather). I'm stoked on the combo.... REALLY takes the Samurai to the next level for comfort and enjoyability 👍

Awesome! Glad it was helpful. Funny, I made this video about 3 years ago. I still have the xtrainer and still LOVE it! I'm at 150 hours, use the bike to race and it's still going strong and still a great bike.

I have the Benjamin Armada in .22 caliber and I honestly dont regret it at all. I spent a pretty penny for the entire kit and pump but when I do have time to use it...... I stay speechless with how perfect i can center my shots especially with far range.

Just received one last week. Very well made. Bar with gears and such are all one piece curved correctly etc . The end is just like Bajas. It came with 15 17 20 and 25 shafts. Its made of carbon steel and about 2 times heavier than Baja. But the shafts wont bend like my Baja did. I paid 67 bucks shipped to my house for what Baja gets 250 for.

It looks like you did a great job. A option others may consider as well is to take your MX boots to your local cobbler and have him fit a much thicker sole such as the various Vibram soles. Also he could add a bit of leather to the midsole directly above the sole. Anywhere from 1/2 to 1 inch or more to the midsole and at least that much from the soles. Two inches shouldn’t be a problem. Cowboys wear heels like the ladies do so give your cobbler some business. P.S. You’ll have to readjust your shift lever though. The brake would probably be fine.

The hardtop was a game changer for this rig. It is so much quieter, warmer, more comfortable than with the soft top. The install wasn't bad, took my husband and I about 3 hours maybe. I can't imagine it would be easy to do with one person however.

I just received one of these that purchased through eBay. It’s night light… but the design has been updated. The end is now very much like the Baja tool. The driving shaft is one piece not a bar welded onto the geared part. It worked very well except it could have a little more curve to it because you kinda have to press the bead down off of it. But was very useable. It was in perfect condition. No rust in a well padded foam lined box with some inserts to keep it in place, all the handles and adapters had a expandable plastic sleeve to protect them while shipping. I was very pleased for the $65 price tag.

Great video! I took my 2022 Xtrainer to a motocross track and loved it. So much fun. I had to take it easy on the jumps because the stock suspension bottomed out on one tall jump. How did your Xtrainer suspension do on the jumps?

It actually did fine on the jumps. Of course, I wasn't jumping very high or far and I'm not very big at 135 pounds. Its a lot of fun!

I have a .22cal Benjamin marauder. Mine is accurate up close but past 25 yards it can’t hit a thing at all. I tried cheap 14.3gr, 19gr, 25gr , and 33.94 jsb and still groups open up past 25 yards. I like my marauder and plan on plenty of upgrades. I should have got the lothar Walter barreled Benjamin.

I didn't test it to see exactly how hot but it would scald you if aren't careful with adjusting it.

If you're sensitive to heat, the lowest setting and the flow adjusted to full is warm and on some parts (like my back) you can still feel the heat - otherwise you could make coffee with the max heat setting. @@GentleSerpent

I would plate it just to avoid the need for the desert tank and to ensure when you near the 50 mile range you can sneak out to the city streets to obtain the needed fuel top off. That alone makes it worth it to me.

I bought my ‘21 xtrainer in FL with a street plate so I could ride in the national forests. I don’t recommend you buy a plate and make it your dual sport. Fuel mileage snd gearing being the two biggest issues. Love my xtrainer for riding trails and forest roads in the national forest. Will likely replace my DRZ400 with a beta 390 or 430 for dual sport events

That was exactly my opinion too! I would LOVE to ride it as a dual sport but, the fuel consumption is a definite issue and honestly it is miserable on the highway. Feels like you're gonna blow it up! I ride my WR on the street and that is fine, although I've also been looking at the 390rr-s.
