I reckon the people shouting and screaming freak me out more than the turbulence. “What is goin’ on” is that turbulence has always been around and it’s never comfortable or pleasant. I’ve been in some horrible stuff. Over the Sahara, over the Arabian Sea and over the Bay Of Bengal. All I can say is that you’re best closing your eyes, taking deep slow breaths and hope you’ve got no one near you hollering and screaming “put this thing on the ground”.. or such sh.t.

Worse thing about turbulence is the feeling of zero control over what's happening. If each seatback had a little control yoke, like the pilot has, it would give people something to grab onto, and pretend that they had control. Ridiculous, I know. But it would get in the way of the tray table, so it wouldn't work.

I slept through turbulence like this once. Didn’t even know until I heard people talking about it after landing. This was SW flight so obviously something stupid was bound to happen because SW is cheap. Surprised Frontier did this.

I just put my headphones on in a plane. So many annoying ass people. Look up turbulence before your go on your next flight and how the pilots handle the situation. Yeah it’s a wild ride but they aren’t going to fly you though a damn tornado. Chill out.
