Freedie was born in African , although of Indian/Parsi origin. Africa had a great 👍 influence on him . The biggest influence. In his mind he was African . Jimmy Henridx was of African descent and this the connection and the peace …May they both rest in peace ❤

My favorite part of this video is just after their part of LiveAid starts. (About 53:00) Wayne Sleep says about Freddie, “He TAKES the stage as if it’s his living room, and just TALKS to them as if they’re sitting on the settee in front of him. It’s all very personal even though it’s EPIC!!” as Wayne throws his arms wide. That’s the way I remember Freddie being every time I ever saw him. He was just talking to us. Yeah, I miss him.

He can only be described as totally magnificent; he had a once in a lifetime voice. I could listen to his music all day long. You never tire of it; it's as though he is singing directly to you, each individual person. A voice like his has to.go down in music as LEGEND because it cannot be imitated Freddie will be remembered by every generation; you only had to hear him once and you go back looking for more. The.world really lost a Great singer and showman ; but most of all we lost a great human being.

I will never understand what they saw in this weird narcissistic dude .I saw Queen perform on two occasions .And I still didn't get it .But I was fascinated bout the why . For 4 years or so I tried to understand .I'm 67 now , Freddie's gone for what? 20 years or so and it's only gotten worse .Grown ups talk about him like he's a god or something . I will never understand it . Gets me gaga.

Freddie was a wonderful performer. Anyone who has been to his concert is fascinated by his charisma and performance. You're probably lying about going to a Queen concert or you don't know anything about real talent.

STOP THE BS ABOUT AMERICA BANNING THE "I'VE GOT TO BREAK FREE" VIDEO!!! Believe it or not America was familiar with drag, Britain didn't invent it and Queen was never asked to record another video. I worked at a rock station and the song was on regular rotation - I saw the video frequently on Night Flight, VH1 and MTV. The fact is the song was not one of Queen's best and at that time in America the focus was on the growing HIP HOP and RAP genre. So just stop whining that Americans were a bunch of puritans who clutched their pearls and gasped in shock at the sight of Queen camping it up in drag.
