The guy has most likely watched the ‘claw spa,’ where a 3rd generation lobster fisherman helps lobsters that are inundated with barnacles. I’ve seen these fake ones where they glue barnacles on these turtles. This is fake. Don’t believe me? Look it up. The guy from Maine is for real. This is staged.

Does little to no good. Not normal for barnacles to grow on turtles, probably not in best of health. They will be back within a couple of weeks
