I thought about Steven Hann & when u said his score my 1st thought was Your Ceiling & then i thought The Pinnacle. 1 second later u said it. It has been 3 hard days of driving in very cold & snowy/icy conditions here in the upper US midwest. I've always thought of archery & golf as similar. Both r shots & u want to be consistent & shoot straight. I like the recurve & the compound just feels artificial & not as real as a recurve. Golfers that hit the ball 400 yards out of bounds as well as a guy who shoots a 300+ fps arrow can't even see it & the control is usually compromised so it all goes back to the basics. Feel the shot & execute it.😮😅

Had to wait a bit for day 6 eh :D Good shooting though. Been watching your pinky finger on the draw hand - it's a real live one :D. Because of how the ring finger and little finger are hard to move separately the little finger's movements are affecting your ring finger pressure and release. Very consistent in the last end though. Might be coming from draw hand wrist tension. Cheers!

Try between 2x and 3x clarifier with a x8 front lense you will see pin clear and target too. Range of clarifier between 2 & 3 will depend on your eyesight vision.. surely near enough in that span.

I just got my Vegas 3 spot targets just in time for the return of winter tomorrow. But i have some 2 " feathers on the way. I have 2 dozen Pandarus Icepoint bare shafts that I'm currently in the process of making arrows. Due to weather I've only had one day that i could shoot the 6 arrows that have 3" feathers. But i think due to how well my bare shafting went that the 2" feathers will be enough. I'm willing to remain optimistic & look forward to better days in the month of April. I'm noticing stronger form from u. The scores don't always show it with near misses so if u build the form u will prosper😮😅.

Good shooting! Wind likes those big feathers too :D One of the simpler things to look into could be your grip position. Sometimes your fingers are almost all the way around the riser, sometimes not which can change how you have to get through the clicker and both horizontal and vertical impact. Basically having the pressure always the same in the grip, really driving the arrow in the target. Looking forward to your training videos. Scoring is nice but it can sometimes make me go back to my "tried and true" shooting method just so I don't mess up my score while trying something "new". Got into a new club?

Champ. 💪 What an improvement on the release, you had a bunch of clean ones. The misses on the left come from muscling through the clicker with your draw arm, textbook. The push and pull of both arms needs to be 50/50 for a clean release, but it's better to push more than pull more if you really need to get through the clicker. You have good discipline of letting down when you feel you've stuffed the setup though. Also excellent head space/mental process. P.s. I shoot 270 on average at 18m. Been shooting for a year.

It's all the release. Sometimes your hand goes back & other times it's to the side & other times low. Everything looks great b4 then so I think it's very do-able.😮

Your right my release is my big problem ATM
@josephtreadlightly5686

I'm kanting the bow with no sights. But I shoot with bare shafts & arrows that r long with 3" feathers. They shoot very similar, so b4 I fletch anymore arrows I'm going to order some 2" feathers. I don't have a clicker on this setup but my middle knuckle in the corner of my lip stops there & I keep pulling & the arrow releases. I find that it's very repeatable but MN in March is not very hospitable. Hoping for better weather next week while I work on my gear, Archery Strong 🎉😅.

I liked your video yesterday but I was in the middle of watching Moneyball & they were talking about " it's a process, a process, a process & wasn't able to comment later. Wondering what spine your recurve arrows r? I'm in the process of making 2 dozen Pandarus Icepoint shafts into arrows & they seem just a little stiff. Of course it just might be this MN weather 😮🎉❤.

Hilarious intro even without context :D What's your setup? Limb poundage? Up front looks like you might benefit from some more weight on the long rod to reduce aiming wobbles, the rest is in the release.

I noticed that Day 1 your release was not archery strong. The draw & stance looked effortless but the release was a little inconsistent. The fact that your 3rd arrow scores were better shows improvement. I think unr on the right path. Maybe u should use Brad Pitt from the Moneyball movie as your Inspiration. :It's a process...a process...a process!"😅
