I've had my screen print for about a week and after watching this I'm definitely going to change the ink and try the plastisol ink that's for the help my guy

Hi Milo, swell video, nice that a person can use a heat press to dry the ink. I used to screen signs and posters but that is a totally different ball game. The screen shop that I use can't do the artwork without a computer file. The shop could not use the positive I made. I thought this was odd.I am going to research and see if they still make the photo sensitive film in sheets. Again good job. Gary

Solid process man! For the end of the video, the Q&A part, something I think can help the process starts with the artwork section, as well as the screen coating section. You mention you cut in (inside stroke) the artwork because of blowout. This is where the screen coating comes into play. 156 is definitely the right call for mesh count. The thing I encourage you to at least mess around with is the coating. Sharp side of the coater definitely, BUT less coats. More coats = more ink deposit and higher chance of blowout (in my experience). So try and coat 1 on each side. That helps with ink deposit, and keeps the plastisol thinner on the shirt which is always good. Another factor at play is the squeegee durometer. I don't recall this being mentioned, but it could have been. Anyway, the standard duro seems to be 70, but I've found that to be a bit soft. A mix duro like a 70/90/70 can be a game changer. You still get the softer edge of the 70, but the blade has a slab of 90 duro in the middle so it keep the blade stiffer, resulting is less deposit and sharper prints. An 80 is also a good choice, but is significantly stiffer and I find that much more tiring over time on longer runs. It's a lot harder to print, but it can really MAKE the print depending on that it is. Especially messing with high detailed designs on a 156/200 mesh the 80 duro squeegee can just keep those so much cleaner because of the sharp edge. Solid video man, keep it up. Hopefully some of what I said makes sense and can help some people out there.

Brother this is Gold Thank you ❤️🙌. Yes my goal is to definitely move to a 1 pass on each side when coating. Specially when I’m printing high detail designs. Thanks again 🙌

What blend of clothing works best vs what blend feels better when worn?

This almost hits what I was looking for. I'm trying to start from scratch. I have a bunch of questions maybe it can be in another video. How do you find your supplier? Do you base it on price or shipping? Do you buy and keep all these shirts in stock in case a customer orders them or order them from the supplier when a order is submitter? What if there is a shirt you don't have in stock and a customer needs them fast? Do you give a standard turnaround time? Do you stick with certain brands or do you base your supplies on personal preference? When do you tell a customer you cant meet their needs or do you go out your way? Do you network with other companies to recommend services you cant provide? Do you stick with a niche such as your own design clothing brand vs making jerseys or company t shirts?

Hey man, one question I have about screen printing kit...if you take a mesh off the frame, can you put that old mesh back on a frame later? Like if you wanted to make more of that "wolf" design like the last video...can you reuse that mesh?
