Politics can be a touchy subject for some... for me, not in the least as I know I will not agree with everything another person says. I can formulate my own opinion on things and know it may not jive with others, that is what makes us human. We all can agree to disagree. Nothing is worth losing friendships over or getting into shouting matches over because of those moments of incompatibilities in views. I always like to say I was born a libra (October 7th) because i like to weigh all the information in a fair and balanced way before i offer my take. It's how I have managed to live my life and it doesnt always work out in my favor but some times it does. Speaking politically... it is rather amazing how more people dont understand the words that come out of every politicians mouth is not meant for anything other than personal gain. I truly believe the public education system has failed ever since I graduated (back in 1990). Gen X may be the last generation that can understand and see things for what they really are because we were raised to question everything we dont understand while the younger generation are told what to think and not question anything because it may offend someone else.

Like you, I have voted for Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Libertarians in the past. This probably won't convince you - the die is cast. I will quote what a Trump-supporting friend told me a few weeks back: "Trump is going to WIN! Considering your race, gender, orientation, and socio-economic status - YOU, will be just fine..." This statement actually worried me. Based on where I live (the future district of Lauren Boebert), I can vote for Mickey Mouse and it's not going to matter - Trump will win my district with 65%+. BUT, I've come to know this man ... I never liked him as a TV personality (running a show popular with people who have Sadistic Personality Disorder (SPD)) and I especially didn't like him as a politician considering I have friends and co-workers whose rights will be in his new Administration's cross-hairs. I don't like his connections to Epstein (some allegations are outright sick), and I don't like his repeating Russian talking points. I'm originally from the former (soon to be new) Eastern Bloc. So I've connected the dots - I see it in my expat community who are salivating at finally having a strong daddy in charge of THIS country, and I don't agree with their sentiment. I'm voting to simply make a statement - I can't vote for anybody but the Democrat on the ticket this time - even if I didn't chose her, I originally chose her boss. There are two Kamalas ... the one who was SFDA/CA AG and the one who was a Senator and VP. *Im hoping we get the SFDA version of her back* . I'm surprised you didn't find her record on homeowner protections from predatory lenders, criminal justice reforms (including skill training, reporting illegal immigrants who committed felonies to ICE, giving autonomy to local police departments based on their community needs, and going after gun violence in poor urban areas around SF), Anti-truancy efforts (bigger than it sounds - holding parents accountable), environmental initiatives, and going after Private colleges whose goal was to profit from student loan debt...

Interesting review. Couple of questions I was asking myself: What system(s) did you test on? Is it multiplatform? What games did you test and do play using VR regularly? I have never considered dropping the money on a VR rig because I just have not seen the 'killer app' yet that made me really really want one. Thanks for the video!!!

I agree that money can be a big factor in it. When you only make so much a month you have to decide between games or rent and gas. It's why I buy mostly used games because I can't justify buying something new all of the time.

The Logitech G-Cloud is a nice pseudo portable xbox. It works via local network as well as internet connected and can play android games installed to micro SD card. I even use it for PS4 remote play that the Portal cannot do.

Just found out my in-laws are moving to Omaha Arkansas... i think that's over in Boone County. Im sure that is a bit of a drive from there down to Little Rock but if I go out to see them, I might drive over for a visit.

You had me with "Xbox" box lol. Don't worry my friend, you just need to tattoo of a giant Xbox Logo on your body somewhere, and pledge your undying devotion and loyalty to the mighty Xbox lol. I've actually seen people at Gamestop over the years with Xbox tattoos on their wrists or arms. You really can't have an Original Xbox collection and not have Halo. It's like having a Nintendo console without at least one Mario title. I got my copy of Qubed for only $2.50 at my local game store. It's been that price for years now but only raised in price this April 2024. My brother owns a 3D printer and he's had a lot fun with it. He's made me a few Xbox Logos, a small Xbox Console and a few other gaming related collectibles. It's sad seeing the gaming section of Best Buy these days in 2024. My local Gamestops actually have decent selections of games to choose from. I'm just not really buying that many games these days but I still go to them occasionally. Now is definitely time to get these Xbox One/Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4 titles before people go crazy for them in the next 5 to 10 years.

I appreciate you taking the time to film a video response to my latest discussion vlog. I never understand the people who have to live by the sword for these companies like Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo. It's not like the actually care about us as individuals, they just want to us to open up our wallets and steal our money at the end of the day. You miss out on way too much with this hobby by limiting yourself to just one platform or brand. Keep up the great work my friend. Tribalism has been around a long time and seems to only be getting worse. Personally, in gaming, I find it best to just play the games... not the platforms. If that means i have to get a certain platform to play it, sure. I do that anyway because I like having the widest range of entertainment available to me. It's been like this since 1977 when I got into Pong and then later the VCS and then the Intelevision and Colecovision... on throughout gaming history to this day. Like you, there are certain controller layouts that just work better with my hands... so naturally i will gravitate to the games that are supported by that controller. These days, you can just about use any controller from one platform on another thanks to modern technology and adapters that make it work. It may seem a little odd to play a PS game with an XB controller but it works.

It seems as thought everything these days is trying to 'nudge' people into specifically defined and (mostly divided) camps. Politics, pop culture, soda etc. Proclaim your tribe and then fight to bitter end against the opposing tribe. Doing this gives the tribe a cop out as well as they don't have to produce a good product because they don't have to earn your good will. You have already pledged your devotion to your tribe. It's sad and further breaks down the importance of the individual. Don't think yourself, just stick with your tribe.

I appreciate the shout out bro. It's absolutely nuts how expensive that Xbox Live Arcade Pack has become. I saw it at the store for $8.00 and wanted to check on eBay to see if it was suppose to come with a manual and I couldn't find any copies for sale. I was only seeing PAL copies, so I decided to check sold listings and noticed tons of copies selling for cheap. I then checked a few days later and saw new copies put up at inflated prices. Just glad I was able to add it to my collection for cheap as these Arcade compilations are becoming sought after because of these wonderful digital games being backed up forever on disc. I also knew that the Xbox 360 would eventually become more popular. I'm just glad that I've been buying, playing, and collecting for the Xbox 360 since the beginning back on November 22nd 2005 on launch night. As soon as Microsoft announced in 2023 that they were closing the store in July 2024, I knew as we got closer to that date, that most people would wait until the last minute to panic buy these games. That's exactly what we're seeing now. I do expect a lot of games to go down in the next few years, but the actual rare and uncommon games like Autobahn Polizei, I don't really see dropping in value much. I do hope you can find a copy of it soon my friend. Take care and be well.

Sad that the Cybertron games are not BC for XBO / SX. I know there was a release digitally of Fall of Cybertron on XBO but it's now delisted. It makes me curious if you could use the 360 disc to somehow play that XBO version in the same way any BC 360 game has an XBO digital copy. Sadly I don't have the 360 copies, I have them on PS3.

It's so hard to find anything now, there's far too many collectors.
