So why do you need to mark the valve stem hole. Isn't the hole a mark in itself? Not as if there is more than one of them.

Some rims have another hole for a rim lock and I like to mark the valve stem hole to make it easier when installing the spokes.

I was taught that this is called a "travel" indicator, a test and back plunge indicator have a dial "face".

Thanks for including the torque spec of the friction plate bolt - is the only place I've found it. I think I messed mine up over torqeing before I found this video so have ordered new parts. I didn't even notice the music so many have complained about - sheesh! Guess I was laser focused on your explanation!

Thank you for the video, I wish I watched this first before trying to fix it without prior knowledge. Just a quick FYI, IF you do turn the pulley clockwise it will damage the spring, however it's a very simple fix. You just have to bend the spring back into shape again. Ask me how I know this lol. This tutorial also applies for the 499901 pulley.

I guess I should have grabbed the hub itself instead of the stud. Or better yet, I should have videoed the wheel movement before I loosened the lug nuts.

6:18 the pawls on mine don't come out positively as they should like that but are just loose and flung out under centrifugal force. I noticed I had damage to the tabs on the pawls that the ramp guides outwards. I'll have to take a look at that to see if it's properly aligned and engaging the ramp.

Could you balance same wheel twise. And make video about it. First balance a wheel, than remove from machine. Spin shaft few turns. And put it back again, and spin it. I want to see zeros again. But my machine asks for more weights.

What can I do if I didnt measure the offset before removing the old spokes? Do all motorbikes have an offset? I cant find any mention of it in the manual, only the horizontal and vertical buckle tolerances
