yes there is a bypass mode ,,,, or u can clone the youfibre router mac address and just use yore router ,,, but if your router doesn't support wifi 6 then ied just stick with there router ,, its a good router with ddos protection and a really good firewall

Hi Hope you're still giving tips I am only allowed about 7 Wi-Fi devices and wanted to set another router up to use Wi-Fi from this. Do I apply this rule or does the router need to be in MODEM MODE? Reluctant to do this as I'd have to set cctv up again.

@@RichMantaray Thanks Rich I have had a TP-Link Archer C60 that's supposed to do that but can't connect to Wi-Fi annoyingly. That's after being on TP-Link chat and downloading tether. It lets me get in occasionally hard wiring it which is difficult as it has the same ip address as Hub3

Getting over 1040mb both up and down. Ping 2 ms. Really friendly service, installation very smooth. The Arris router is great, wireless never loses signal.

Try the FritzBox 5690 Pro it has a 2,5Gbit LAN Port and you can plug the Fiber Cable directly into the Router but you need a 2,5Gbit LAN Pcie Card for your PC i think you can get over a 1000 with that in both directions greetings from Germany 😊

I have a HUB 3 ( not HUB 4 like yours ) and also need to fix some IPs. This heap of junk times out when I click ADD RULE and when I go back in the rule is there BUT the device is no longer shown in the ATTACHED DEVICES !! Also if I delete the RULE the device reappears in the attached devices but loses the name I have given it. What a load of utter garbage ! Question - when you add a rule that changes an attached device's IP address, does it STILL appear in attached devices with the new IP address after you have added the rule ?

been a while since i had a hub 3 ,,,, all i know is that every time u change one little thing u had to save it ,,,, if u changed to many things at once it never did it haha ,,,,but emm ive changed to YouFibre now £31 a month 1 gig up and down ,,,, total game changer and way better :) also the router is just amazing :)

I ran into the same issue. I'll copy and paste what I put on Facebook - Problem solved ... and I learned something as well. I bought a new TV for the bedroom since Netflix no longer supported that model. The TV was ten years old or so but even KZfaq was causing problems. I set up the new TV and learned very quickly that there is not a headphone output. I look online for solutions and naturally assumed I could use the RCA audio jacks on the back of the set to supply a small headphone amplifier. After watching a KZfaq video I learned those RCA ports are inputs and not outputs. (You think that would be stated on the back of the TV, but you'd be wrong.) I will have to use the digital optical audio output (Toslink) as my sound source. I ordered a Toslink cable (50cm) for €4 and a €20 digital to analogue converter / headphone amp (with a volume control). The converter was about the size of a pack of cigarettes (and uses USB power supplied from the TV). I also assumed I would have to switch back and forth in the TV's sound settings between built in speakers and optical to use the headphones, but I don't. It turns out the sound output from the digital audio output is always on regardless of the volume level of the built in speakers. So, Sacha can have the sound level to her liking and I can have headphones - both are adjustable. The TV also did not have a Bluetooth audio connection so I was forced to use the optical audio output. Problem solved ... and I learned a few things.

Hi mate, did they install an external box on the outside wall along with that one that's on your wall? Or did they run it up beside the existing Openreach/BT fibre line? Was there any digging involved at all?

Is it possible to set the router to Modem Only mode? I've Virgin 1Gb at the moment, but I'm looking to move to Yorkshire. I currently have a 10GbE setup (10GbE switch with a dedicated router connected to my Virgin hub in modem mode) for all my PCs. I want to be able to carry this over to the YouFibre broadband system.

U can replace the youfibre router with yours but u have to clone the youfibre router mac address, so check if your router has mac cloneing, the youfobre router has WiFi 6 so if your new router hasn't I wouldn't bother

Hi, since I changed the settings as shown, one of my devices no longer picks up the network. I've restarted the route and the laptop (Windows 10) in question but to no avail. Other devices have been able to come in and connect, but the network still does not show up on one laptop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

im so confused the speeds were amazing on wifi for first 1 or 2 weeks with 400 download and 200 ish upload but since then my speeds have been way slower and inconsistent with horrible ping wtf happened

first things first ,,,,WiFi is not internet :) , u never measure your internet over wifi ,,,,,, plug a lan cable in to a PC and run a speed test

@@RichMantarayi would if i could but atm dont have eithernet cable so i have to deal with wifi at the minute. still dont know why the speeds dropped so much after that time period though. i would say because my house is garbage with the walls or whatever but doesent explain how i was getting 400 now only 30 to 120 depending on how lucky i am

i did the same thing ,, i was paying £45 a month for 250 down and 20 up from virgin media ,,,,,,,, i saw the 1gig up and down for £32 month with ip address ,,,and i just went for it !! best thing i ever did !! ,,,would i go back to virgin media ,,,proby not ,, ied stay and go on lower package if i couldn't afford it
