As a person who was viciously and violently stalked for years by a woman I had not even met and did not know at all who is the ex-partner of a man I dated, who despite me 'playing dead' by being totally non-responsive to her physical stalking with no provocation she still escalated her behavior to violent threats, sexual vilification leading to violent assault injuring me despite living in a different city hours drive away with none of it online as I had no social media or even email address - the reality of being stalked makes this whole pathetic 'baby reindeer' portrayal of being stalked offensive and dangerously misleading about the reality of people being dangerously and viciously physically stalked. It is disgustingly wrong and stupid to conceive of anyone being stalked as a 'lost person' similarly as the stalker. That is a lie in every but the rarest case. The woman stalking me found out where I lived, started by sitting outside my house at 3.00am, leaving threatening cryptic notes in my letterbox signing her name to it with lovehearts, threatening and defaming me and my family who she had also never met, threats also coming through the man I was dating leading up to a violent attack permanently injuring me and continued sexually vilifying and threatening obscene stalking cowardly with people often with her and moving to my city and street to do it dangerously on the road. And there is nothing you can do if the cops refuse to charge and convict. It is an obscenely helpless and hopeless vile situation to be in that I did NOTHING to invite. And no, I had nothing to do with their break-up. She had no legitimate beef with me. Similar with a woman who worked in my building who I had nothing to do with who obsessively stalked and assaulted me by deliberately slamming into me by trespassing into my workplace. That is why I find this whole 'baby reindeer' saga stupidly offensive especially the way it FALSELY portrays perfectly mentally sound people like myself as mentally disturbed themselves and 'asking for it' and encouraging the stalking. Let me set everyone straight right here. You don't have to offer someone a cup of tea for them to stalk you relentlessly and viciously stalk you FOREVER. You don't have to have done anything wrong to someone for them to want to cause your demise and to act on it. Jealousy, envy, hatred, irrational thinking, low grade conception and operation of power and control of other people but entitlement to not control their deviant impulses including lying their head off, criminal mentality... obvious bad character ... are what drives stalker's behaviours from my experience. I can't say anything about Fiona Harvey but I only wish that all my stalker did was allegedly send 41,000 emails that were not actually threatening and sexually vilifying me and staying away with that, not that I would want that either as it would be intimidating none-the-less as any unwanted contact would, but this whole pathetic reindeer saga is NOT a real representation of what being stalked really is.
