Great video. At what power% would you say you can hear the Nero7 in an otherwise silent room?

My mangroves are becoming to big for my tank, Any ideas please? I'm thinking of starting a reef pond with leather corals and local caught tangs, angels and other tropical marine fish and I've got a huge bowl where I can transplant them when I have the finances to start the pond. I'm in Durban , South Africa. I have all the species of mangroves here as I'm rescuing pods that will be on the beach rubbish bin to be destroyed by the beach maintanance people.

Hi what is the highest salinity they reproduce in?
@retro50143 ай бұрын
try not to go over 1.030 they best thrive @ 1.015

@@retro5014 Thanks. Rus at Aquarimax Pets said they could survive full strength seawater (1.025) but won't reproduce in it. Too bad, I don't currently have any, but I was thinking it would be cool to have them in breeder box hanging on the back of micro reef tank - most of them would stay in the box, but a few of their babies might get washed into the main tank & feed the corals or fish in the main tank.

I want to do this as well since I don't have another tank to QT I have a salt water setup and I just got hit with a HORRIBLE case of ICH that whipped out 12 of my 17 fish in my 125g , but I just want to ask what exactly does doing this do that a QT tank doesn't that makes it more " rapid and safe"? if that makes any sense

I’ve been thinking about getting a reef tank, but most don’t have lids. I have a German Shepard that sheds like crazy. On my freshwater I have a solid plastic lid where hair lands on top every now and then. My question is , do those lids have a wire mesh that’s still open or is it 💯 clear plastic .

I have a clingfish (still trying to figure out the exact species, though it's the same species you have, probably Gobiesox punctulatus or Gobiesox strumosus) from Diver's Den and it is by far the most personable fish I have ever owned! While it is not very active and usually likes to hide behind my overflow, it always gets super excited to see me; it will only show its white facial markings during feeding time/when it gets stressed (I believe this is called pajama coloration) and will wag its tail upon sight! It also readily feed out of my hand (it will take frozen food, pellets, and live amphipods, but not flakes). In fact, this was how I got it out of my quarantine tank so easily; after having spent months associating my hand with food, I was literally able to scoop it into an acclimation container after it attached itself to my palm. While its large mouth would probably make it a terrible tankmate for small fish like Elacatinus gobies, I would say that this is one of the most fascinating fish to keep in the marine hobby. P.S. I've named it "Roomba."

I am fortunate to live in an area where mangrove pods wash up on the local beach. I grabbed a few a couple weeks ago and placed them in fresh water. They are growing roots on the bottom and whatever you call the thing on top LOL. It looks like a thorn but leaves may grow out of it one day. I'm going to grow in a bowl, didn't think about turning it into a fish aquarium until I saw your video. Thanks for the video to help get me started!

The mangrove is as old as the ocean itself, it’s the last plant from the anean age.
