I bought an XRV in 2023. The ergos of the XRV are just perfect for me. Having had surgery on both knees, both shoulders, back etc, I got off my VFR Crosstourer and onto the XRV, and it was just perfect. I struggle to do 3 hours on the VFR, and the XRV, the day I bought it, I rode 1200 kms non stop. Just comfortable. That on it's own was reason enough for me to get one. Now after a lot of measuring, I've determined that compared to my VFR the basic rider position is almost identical. But the VFR foot pegs are about 100mm closer to the rear wheel, and maybe 25mm higher than the pegs on the XRV (I think they're a drop peg non standard). So I'm fabricating new foot peg mounts for the VFR to mimic the XRV riding position.

My first Tiger was a 06 955i which I loved, moved on to a 1050 in 2010, that was a great road bike. Upgraded ? to Tiger Sport and then Explorer 1200 RTX . Last year bought a 900 GT Pro and love this bike as it's a good all rounder with lots of modern toys. I have toured all over Europe on all of them and had lots of fun on them all.

I agree, simple is better. I just bought a leftover 2023 Super Tenere ES with 0 miles and it is an excellent bike. Engine oil change every 4000 miles and shaft drive oil change every 12,000 miles. Plenty of torque and no worries about it breaking down.

Used to own a Kawasaki Versys-X when I was young. As I get older and my body no longer can stand sitting on a bike for long ride, I sold my Kawasaki and bought a Kymco Downtown i. And I regretted my decision shortly after I took a ride on my new scooter. Why haven't I get this before, instead of the Kawasaki?

I bought my 2022 SYM Fiddle 4 200i (169cc) scooter because it had a flat floor that I didn’t have to step over like my old Suzuki Burgman 400. It does decent on the back roads at 55 to 60 mph. It has12” wheels. But I still like my Burgman 400 on the interstate for longer rides.
