The solution that worked for me : (I'm using Arduino Uno) : I install the CH340 Driver on my computer also I already had installed the Arduino IDE with all stuff etc, I notice this happens when I had connected some stuff to the 0 and 1 digital ports which are tx and rx so I don't use them anymore then I was able to upload the sketch with any problems : PSDTA: you could try to change your arduino to arduino nano then in proccessor option select atmega328 old bootlioader and then select Arduino Uno again

7 years ago I used a Mega2560 to make a temperature and humidity sensor. It still works today so that confirms the reliability also the DHT22 sensor is very accurate when compared to my HVAC testers.

I didn't understand if you can run a 12V light without an external power source. For a Buttonbox i have a Button with a 12V light in it. I have connected it for a short time to the 5V output of my leonardo-board and it works but i have no clue if over a longer period i'm going to damage the board.

Found this series insightful and helpful. After using debugging features with other microcontroller IDEs it is difficult to step back into the Arduino world without it and was encouraged to a see the Arduino 2.0 IDE added support for hardware debugging. The Arduino documentation in this area is sparse for starting and using. Please continue to develop this series in the practical use direction of hardware debugging pursuing some examples with more detailed connections and debugging techniques.

Decades ago I had a W I D E solderless breadboard about the size of yours that could accommodate 24, 28, 40, etc. pin chips like the 6502, Z-80, 1802, 2716, etc. CPUs and EPROMs while exposing four tie-points on both sides; perfect for the Pi Pico, STM32, etc. Now I can't find anyone who sells them. Can you?
