Awesome looking Z900! I have the pleasure of owning a 2024 Z900 SE. It's an absolute beast in Rider mode full power and traction control off. One of the best looking naked bikes hands down. Do you have an email I can send some pics of my bike over to you if you are interested?

you should get a different front wheel fender, got the same colorway on mine, but switched the front fender to a carbon fibre one off of ebay, looks so much better

Fuel controller is limited to +-15%. I've run into the problem where it doesn't run the full hindle tune, and i'm guessing yours probably doesn't either? Even the stock tune has values above and below 15%. If you try to check the map after it's been flashed it will show as adjusted values.

Yeah it ran better for me then stock I had more response and felt more power for sure I no longer have the bike but it always ran good for me never leaned out or got too rich

@@Pstreetz Good to know, I plan on running mine with the PCFC for a few weeks but already ordered the PCV. Cheaper than a new bike so might as well get everything out of it. Finding a pcv is going to get harder and harder unfortunately.

I own a 2023 Z900 the black/green one, they really are a nice bike. Also, If you start to hear a weird ticking noise, it will be the automatic timing chain tensioner. There is a good clip on KZfaq of a bloke with a ZX10r showing how to make the spring loaded tensioner move to the next notch.

It’s tuned for the exhaust so I don’t get a check engine other then that I don’t believe it’s tuned for more power

The power band is a lot smoother/ handles better than a MT I believe they are around the same power but the mt in my opinion has a better seat position

Did you only use the gasket sealer around that hole? Doesn't need any on the gasket itself around the bolts?

Yes only around that area no need on the gasket , gasket will seal when bolts are tightened

HWG == high waste gate LWG == low waste gate. LWG == lower boost, HWG == higher boost. they're there so you can tweak a little bit based on the quality of your gas. if you're getting a lot of knock with HWG, try LWG and vice versa- no knock on LWG, try HWG and see if it can handle it. if they were running catless without a tune the car would have been running like ass lol, if you do anything that allows the engine to breathe better (exhaust or intake changes) then you should be running a tune that matches what you have installed.

Just got an O8 R6, blue on black. It’s absolutely phenomenal! It has 128 hp and 47 torque with a full Yoshi system, k&N high flow air filter and a flash.

I paid 4k for mine had 9k miles on it when I got it theses bike will last a life time if they are taken care of my fz6 had close to the same motor and it had 38k on it and before that I had a old ninja 500 with over 60k miles on it

oil color does not equal an oil's ability to protect. I do 5k mi oci (1k mi sooner than Subaru recommends because it goes me fudge room) I do 3x changes per yr. All those mods and no fumoto valve? that valve makes oil changes super east and less messy. how often are you checking and/or emptying the can? how much comes out when you do?

😂😂😂 Really 😊 advanced daily 🤣. This is too much..... The FA 20 is better and Subaru abandon it. Unfortunately all those problems except the stereo is better in the STI. The VA WRX is all right probably should do an FA 24 swap 2litre is not great out of the box and In about 30 seconds I would change your mind about an EJ. I would just leave it alone upgrade to an STI if you want to do some mods.

It should be the same procedure just make sure you get the correct gasket for the 2017
