Watching this reel it's hard to imagine him being any help in the playoffs. Almost every goal was against a bottom feeder team that missed the playoffs, and even then half of them came on the powerplay. He did get a couple against Tampa when Elliott was in net but that kinda feels like the same thing. I guess he got a couple weird ones, with one against Boston off a weird play that developed off a bounce from a bench player that shouldn't have been on the ice and one against Seattle just throwing it a Grubauer and getting an assist from Borgen to score on his own net. But that feels pretty sparse. Seems like he just falls completely off when there's half way competent defense.

As a Wings fan, I’m very excited I saw this notification. All I’ve seen so far is an endless stream of hockey pundits enjoying hearing their own voices, and getting clicks and views on their channels. And a bunch of pissed off Sens fans. Watching him play, the one that keeps coming to mind is that this is what Zadina was advertised as, but never panned out. I wish him luck with the Sharks 🦈. But you can see it’s the aggressiveness that DeBrincat plays with, that Zadina never showed, and probably doesn’t have. So the Wings pickup a proven offensive sniper, who’s a hometown boy. And get lucky enough to have some deadwood unloaded, which Zadina did to himself.

As a sens fan, seeing DeBrincat leave was very sad, however he might not have wanted to stay. So honestly seeing him go to a fantastic american franchise in Detroit, seeing him where number 93 playing with Kane... Things could be much worse.

So elite. Still hasn’t fully sunk in that he’s a Senator. By far the best local talent the Sens have ever had. The fact that he wanted to be part of this team makes it even better. My favourite goal has to be his OT goal against LA. An absolute gem! P.S: Love the videos, keep up the great work!
