This is an excellent scene. They don’t waste dialogue, and they communicate a lot without words. The chemistry is amazing, she obviously cares for him, but Chris does a good job of showing the guilt and that he doesn’t feel he deserves to be cared for. I wouldn’t realize until later in the movie and then in the sequel why he gets that way.

Seeing how doomsdays heat vision did nothing to superman it just pissed him off shows that superman is more durable than thor because thor very nearly died to a dying star and superman's heat vision is three times hotter and that heat vision just got overpowered by doomsdays and it did nothing.

@@mrjayz94it's not in this one but in man of steel superman's heat vision was able to burn and melt straight through kryptonian steel which in zack snyders justice league was revealed to be able to be heated up to its core at 3.5 million degrees just fine. And if you go and look it up you'll see that a nutron star is only 1 million degrees.
