I have been to Kyiv, Ukraine in September of 2017 and loved it so much I am going back this May 2018 for 4 weeks. I have given some serious thought to actually living there and my 2 main concerns are getting perminant residency and also work. I have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years here in Australia but finding work there how difficult will this be ?

They even have sewage gritts with chaines so nobody can steall them and return them for some money but that's a special group that cannot adjust to the Society and They are multiplying very fast. that is the unic problem and shame of that country but that particular minority is growing very fast they don't like to work.

I was in Prague 3 times in my life and I was robbed twice, so give me a break . the city is loaded with some Eastern Europeans. and from a Middle East and who knows where else from and those people are just stealing like crazy so I would suggest more vigilance on the street.

@@droidfanor4068 Nah he is local judging by the name, probably with need to spit on something as seen by his sociological "knowledge" of million plus city based on three visits. The people I know have never been picpocketed in Prague despite living there whole life. There are pickpocketers of course, but no more (and probably even less) than in any other big city in Europe. Violent robberies are very, very rare (especially in the centre highly unlikely at any time of day).

@@fake11end Then i guess Czech Republic is one of only few safe countries left in europe. My parents visited Prague in 1990, nice old photos they had. Right now East Asia (China, Japan, Korea)is the safest region on earth, followed by Eastern/Central Europe (like Czech, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, etc). Western Europe used to be safe (my uncle lives in Germany) but not anymore.
@fake11end5 жыл бұрын
@@droidfanor4068 In the 90s it was not as safe at it is now, lots of skinhead gangs etc. from what I heard. I think generally Western Europe is still very safe if you stay off the bad areas in big cities. I was hitchiking a month across Western Europe last year at except of ghetto in France (Grenoble) where some people were literally banging on car windows, I always felt safe despite sleeping without a tent. You can find these ghettos in every European country, usually Gypsies or people who came to France for example in colonial era. It is true however that in Czech Republic there are only few of these areas and in the rest you can feel safe walking even in the middle of night which is somewhat an exception. But other that that, I wouldn´t be worried in Western Europe if you are in countryside for example at all.

Alright there! Thanks for sharing! On a similar note; have you heard about " Vidadsmedia Mobile Business Review " (do a search on google)? My brother who runs his own small business had some dealings with them and was impressed by their super system and the ease of usage!

Surely, to feel free in Ukraine one would better study both Russian and Ukrainian. Plus to that, if you know Ukrainian you will more or less understand Polish.

If you have any questions or problems with learning Hungarian, maybe I'll be able to help you. So send me a message on youtube, if you have problems, I'm a native speaker, so I'm sure that I can help you. Maybe I won't be able to write it in English :D, but my English is becoming better and better.

Wow, it's any interesting choice, I heard that french people don't really like Hungarians, but learn it. Learning languages is good, because you can understand the other nation's logic. I haven't met any foreigner who could speak Hungarian without accent. Especially they can't say the special characters like ö, ő, ny, ty, s... But if you learn the pronounciation, you'll be able to say everything. Sok szerencsét a nyelvtanuláshoz! :)

Шо ты робишь? Слухай. Wisest choice in what sense? Foreigners don't care about petty politics they are pragmatic and want to learn a language that will be most useful for them. If they are working with clients in the former Soviet Union that is definitely not Ukrainian. The choice here is obvious: learn Russian.

Ukrainian needs to be enforced. Knowing Russian is not bad, but it should be mandatory that Ukrainians learn Ukrainian (... it is actually a disgrace to not know your homeland's unique language).
