This so rarcist... The black man the bass it so obscured in the video. Don't think it was Dave's point of view, but the times. So ad, and so sad that we had to live through that time again.

That’s where the bassist is supposed to stand! Left of the snare so they can communicate…As you can see them talking and feeling the “pocket”. I’m black and a professional bassist . Please educate yourself instead of embarrassing yourself online.😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡

I think it's also worth mentioning that Brubeck was a man of his principles. When told that he couldn't perform with a black bassist whilst on tour in the south, Brubeck promptly cancelled touring down there (and was supported by the whole band). What a fella.

I'm listening to this via a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones which is plugged into an OTL (Output Transformerless) Tube headphone amplifier, that I made myself from an article I found on the internet, the amp uses three Svetlana 6N1P Tubes, and sounds awesome, I can actually hear all the subtle nuances in the music, crystal clear.

I can't work, can't go back to school, can't sleep, can't get paid as a caregiver, can't have a dog law enforcement doesn't kill, so why not five years for whatever BS you come up with. I was just on hold with a lawnmower equipment parts company in Boca Raton Florida and this song was their hold music. So I had to come and listen to the whole song.
