Feels like its by design. Think "open world, so SHIT CAN FIND Y O U" its gonna be more forgiving in order to use your own curiosity to build your own playthru however you like.

I’ve 100% All 3 Dark Souls and Elden Ring and I think Lies of P is very easy. The only difficulty I’ve noticed comes from the lack of hyper armor.

Elden Ring is designed to be forgiving compared to other franchises to invite/introduce people into the genre. Hence the stake of marika, people would cry for the boss run back if it's like ds1.

@@kesselsol Sekiro is not a souls game. Feels like I need to say it twice for people in the back at this point. Completely different games with the same design philosophy. Some of us want the DS1 experience to be built on without giving so much mobility as later games did. Save that for bloodborne 2 lol. Nah I'm kidding I still enjoy them all but Sekiro isn't the answer for people missing the difficulty in souls games. Btw I loved Sekiro. Definitely had that same holeless feeling DS1 and demon souls gave me back then so I get your point.
