I love that you said you have adhd. I also have adhd and have started about 40 different stories all in my google drive and I can’t get pass the initial idea , the middle parts or the end. 😂I would love to complete something and share it with the world any advice?

What I’ve done (or am doing at the moment, anyway) is writing and publishing chapters. Short stories as part of a larger story, so I can finish them quickly! Then I pick the next chapter for whichever story appeals to me next. I also put up an Amazon preorder so I have a deadline that’s not self-imposed. It’s worked so far!

Too many uses of the word “memory”. Would revise the first (2-3?) sentences. Ie: “She’s lost too many memories and there are those who don’t want her to recover them…” or likewise. (Can’t remember exactly what you said..sorry!) I stumbled on this short and actually think it will be fun to follow your process. Never done that before. 😊

Get in to a completely different genre. Preferably one you think is kinda trashy. Like YA, Princess books, commics, erotica, thriller, the most classical classics, high fantasy, middle school books, etc.

It is not, lol. His daddy left without giving him a kiss, so he was upset and crying nearby in the same room where I could keep an eye on him while I worked. I was doing a Tiktok Live prior to dad leaving, so I had to leave the camera to go comfort him.

Little guy is super attached to dad, and has some separation anxiety. I leave my writing when he needs me, which is why it went so slowly this morning.
