هشام الكروج له خمسة ارقام قياسية عالمية الآن بقي له 1500 والمايل و 2000 خارج القاعة (الهواء الطلق) كما له ثاني او ثالث احسن توقيت لجميع الازمنة في سباق 3000 متر (الرقم للكيني دانيال كومان) الكروج انتصر على جيبريسيلاسي وعلى بيكيلي وعلى دانيال كومان والثلاثة أعتبرهم أسياد العاب القوى بين 1995 و 2000
