It’s awesome. Just Picked this up along with about 9 other colognes from the 80s. I’d put this in my top 3. Behind Fahrenheit and Antaeus.

Just have gotten into the hobby. I got this and kouros today. Both intense and I feel the reviews accurate. What’s a safe spray number for Kouros and this? Asking because I haven’t worn either yet and they both initially spray strong as hell lol. I’ve gone 8-10 with Antaeus and Fahrenheit. I’m thinking 5-6 for these. Thoughts or advice be great lol.

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey haha I did around 7, I don’t get the pissy vibe that some reviews say. Maybe the initial sprays. But it’s a projection beast. It’s definitely up there with Antaeus and Fahrenheit for me. Out of all the 80s scents I have picked up last 2 weeks.

Looking for a fragrance that has a scent of spruce resin or pine resin in base notes. Like those old spa thermal baths that got that nice smell. Can you suggest any?

I’m just now learning about this. After spending hundreds looking for beast modes. I bought Hawas and Rue broca pride only because someone said they were beast 😂 went and got Savage Elixer $215.00. Which I don’t regret. But all I had to do was buy something that’s been around since I was a kid 😂

To me, it starts off like a campfire, and I end up at the beach afterwards. Not a bad scent at all, I kinda like it. I feel like on me it won't last very long, maybe along the shorter side of lasting times.

I remember wearing this shit to the city during the pandemic in '20 and early '21. I was a heavy smoker back in the day (Even if it was completely non recommended because of COVID) and i remember digging it since July - September of '20 all the way to now. Stopped wearing it from '22 to '24 but either way it's a nice memory. I wore it when i was 19 and i could rock it now as well. I just liked more other frags back in the day like Polo green and Givenchy Gentleman. I've also had other 'houses like One Man Show, Lapidus, Drakkar Noir, Antaeus and Fahrenheit clones, Pour Lui, a clone of Z14, stuff like that, yet PRPH is one of my faves still. Gonna buy a bottle this weekend

I like it to a certain extent but it indeed is more feminine leaning than most of the classix out there. A few good alternatives to it are: One Man Show by Jacques Bogart Pour Lui by OdlR Givenchy Gentleman from the 70's (I prefer it far more to the Antaeus' dna) Paco Rabanne Pour Homme in vintage formulas (Same) Polo by Ralph Lauren from the late 70's (Same) Aramis Classic Carlo Corinto Classic (Amazing pow'house) And my go - to (Best according to the wallet, since i'm a smoker and stuff) Quorum by Puig. The drydown is similar, Quorum is much more rugged and masculine, and it's almost ten times cheaper than Antaeus. Best wishes my brother

Where should I order this from in the United States (do you have a link)? I don't mind paying reasonable shipping ($10 or less) and waiting 2 weeks or a month for arrival from England as I do with my Pashana hair tonic. I heard their Aventus dupe was good too but their products come and go from fragrance web shops so often that I haven't gotten to it yet but I would love to test some out. *It's weird how so many dupe houses Classic Match/Alt./etc. will get so close but so far. All of the notes are there but the edt itself is like black and white television or the flat scent version of that.* I guess that's why the companies like Milton, Lattafa, etc. do so well by aiming at the original target but focusing first on a great scent even if it means putting their own little spin on it. Thanks for another great video! Oh one other question how do the old Versace L'homme and Kouros stand against each other or are they just too different to compare? Health and happiness my friend cheers!

@@krismawyer55 Milton Lloyd’s are hard to come by in the USA these days, I haven’t seen many on eBay in almost two years. I traded this bottle since I got a vintage kouros. I’d say the versace is good but Kouros is significantly better regardless if it’s vintage or not
@krismawyer5512 күн бұрын
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Thank you so much my friend. I did find the Milton-Lloyd website so I guess if their shipping $ is high I'll just try to boost my order to make it worth it. (SCRATCH-nevermind all of their fragrances are 'sold out' on their own website. Going out of business maybe.) *I did see a MrSmelly video where his lady friend (cancel me please) rated Kouros #1 against the original Eau Sauvage and nine other grand slammers from the classics era so I am completely sold. The universe wants me to get the real thing. I'm old so I'm sure I've smelled it in a department store at some time or another but I really don't think I've ever owned a bottle. Can't wait. Thank you for another great video!

Just got my Alfred Sung Homme and tried it right now. It‘s the new one with the Batch Code N23831A and it feels relatively weak I have to say. I‘m pretty sure this will not be Beast Mode and it doesn‘t really project a lot. Does anyone have the same experience? Never smelled Irish Spring Soap, but I would say, my Alfred Sung Homme smells relatively spicy and feels a little bit like a skin scent straight from the beginning.

It was releases This Year. I've known the brand for about 20 years. The brand is very popular in Germany... Mainly in drugstores. But it's VERY cheap here. Sometimes only 6 or 7 euros. The only negative point is unfortunately the performance of the brand. It's not really good. But they definitely smell good.
