Thank you. I set the backlight on the LCD to +2 and I can see everything on it even in the brightest sun. I never shoot with ISO beyond 4000, the second base ISO for V Log. That enables me to shoot well-exposed video in dim places and at night even with slow lenses.

I already have the Sigma 45 too which feels like such a good fit for this camera (I saw your videos on that too). Actually, the Sigma 17 and 90 of the same series seems like quite a nice and compact prime setup with the 45. It'll be interesting to see what small lenses Panasonic can come up with as well.

No LUT. I used the color space transforms in daVinci Resolve color management - from V Log (gamma and color space) to REC709 (gamma and color space). No other color grading was performed. The CST's are much more precise and robust to exposure than any LUTs (including that from Panasonic).

@@souljahserjueMtl Remember, ISO4000 is 2.5 stops more sensitive than the first base ISO of 640. This means that f7.1 is effectively like f4. Also, there are many shots at the long end - all the shots of the artists, for example, and the roof statues.

It is a very versatile lens, while being quite compact.

You need an adapter that fits on the Ace Pro lens that permits regular screw-in filters. I use the Vivitar diopter filter set. So, if the adapter is for 58mm filters, you get the 58mm Vivitar diopter set. Unfortunately, the adapters I got are sold out so you need to search for them. The Vivitar diopters are available from Amazon.

The 8K is real [the uploaded video is 4K]. The edge fuzziness is due to the digital dewarping. If that is not set, the edges curve due to the fisheye lens. I think the image with this color profile would look better on a cloudy day given its evident high contrast.

Thank you. The video was shot in 5952x3136 (actually 17:9). I rendered the video as 5952/2.35 = 5952x2532 and centered in the frame. The LCD has an option for aspect-ratio guidelines on the lcd so that one can view widescreen while shooting, including 2.35:1.

There is no HDR shooting mode. You shoot in V Log, which has the largest color gamut, 10-bit color, and the gamma that maximizes dynamic range. Then, in post, you transform the color gamut to Rec2020 and the gamma to PQ2100 in a 10-bit color. Those are the HDR specs.

Yes, that is the significant advantage of the Panasonic cameras over others - the IBIS is superb. The lens has OIS as well, and they work together. There is no added digital stabilization in camera or in post.

@arkitekseven4537 Use a variable ND. The ISO is set, the shutter speed is fixed (180 rule), so you can only adjust the aperture, and to pick that you need to control the light with the ND.
