That's really good you were able to talk it thru with your sister about fully processing the bin so its not just shuffling things around and having to then go thru it again. Mini categories are key than just saying i will go thru it or deal with it later. That's good that you helped her see that and recatergorized each section in to different zones. Your sisters bedroom turned out really nice. Its amazing what a fresh coat of paint and new flooring will do to a space. I hope it inspires her to keep moving forward with her decluttering journey and find the peace she wants to feel in her space. Your right ur space does make a impact on how you feel. My mind usually shuts down to when it comes to building furniture with a lot of pieces and a not so well easily to follow along instruction manual. My living room , dining kitchen are all in the same L shaped room. I have a step on to open small trash receptacle, a basket for recycle in the kitchen area, and a box for recycling under the desk.

The bedroom colour is so beautiful calming and relaxing. It looks like a really indulgent space. So much light and space. It needs to stay like this now. Everything has a home and a space in those wardrobes. I wouldn’t be tempted to put anymore furniture in the room.

Wow congrats to your high school bestie becky officially getting moved in to her new place. And for having such a good friend to help her in everyway along the way. I'm sure that helped her out in so many ways and she is beyond appreciative of ur love and support, and it makes all the difference having that support when moving. Wow the room looks so inviting & fresh & a place your sister will really enjoy & feel good in. I love you are getting so many jobs done in the house. The work does not get easier as you get older. I am in 60's & have been decluttering my house to downsize its so much work. I love all that we have done so far donations hired a dumpster got some new furniture. Thanks Carla for the motivation to keep going each more instead of being overwhelmed I think all that I have done.

Same type of hangers, honestly, made our closet look so much nicer. My husband has always been neat with his side. So I can’t blame him for anything to do with my side. I’m the messy one. But, I bought nice black hangers. I cleanup, put away, gave some things and I haven’t looked back. It’s a nice neat closet to walk into.

Imagine the miles the items have to go without having a car ..my only empty space is the garage. And I hate the sight of the things who just don't leave it.

We have a junk room. My dad and i have to go through it but we have had other things come up that were priority but it will be gone through soon. It is some of my grandparents stuff who have now passed and maybe some of my great grandparents stuff who have also passed. Also my dad has stuff back there from his childhood as well as adult/ recent stuff he is storing. I also have stuff from my childhood in there along with stuff I am collecting for when my Boyfriend and i get a place and stuff i have had for years that we an use in our place but i dont have room for in my bedroom

The rug is lost under the bed. It needs to be where Sherri can walk on it!
