Nice to see the stadium now half done... long overdue. But those houses claiming to be "regen" look absolutely awful, completely unsuitable for the area around such a massive football club. Perhaps the work of the resigned ex mayor Joe Anderson and friends should be looked at again?

I think they both look very good! It's one of my favorite flags, but that's maybe just because I love football and always have had a sweet spot for Brazil in the World Cup. The match between France and Brazil in the Mexico WC in '86 was the first match I can remember seeing on the telly, ten years old, together with my father. It was the day I "discovered" football, something that has become one of my biggest passions since. A fantastic team with legends like Zico and Socrates. To bad the 82-86 squads never won the WC, because the 94-team that did win didnt have anywhere the same charisma and flair.

Good explanation, but I would correct you that it wasn't a civil war, but it was rather an agression from the neighbouring countries, which was proven in the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, where they stated that this was a joint criminal enterprise by Croatia and Yugoslavia (today's Serbia)

But as is often the case, one thing does not exclude the other. In this context we have specifically explored the flag of the country of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, ie the Taliban government.

PS! When it comes to the Hillsborough tragedy it is referred to 96 deaths, as this is the number commonly referred to and making this number hold a special place in all things related to the club (badges, scarves, chants, supporters with 96 and "Justice" on their backs etc). Today the correct number of casualtis is actually 97, as LFC-fan Andrew Devine died in 2021 at the age of 55, 32 years after the match on April 15, 1989. The coroner concluded that mr. Devine died of injuries sustained at Hillsborough.
