This was about the church position, not women's rights . My personal opinion is once a baby is created it is about the babies right as well. It's not a fish inside her it's a human being.

​@Adeofactusest you are absolutely right. This basilica is a hot mess, where anything but reverence during the holy sacrifice of the mass is encouraged. This is a problem within the entire archdiocese as well

@Adeofactusest while it is sad, fortunately, I have observed that there is a growing traditionalist movement within the archdiocese. I go to St. Pius hs in albuquerque, where modernist garbage is taught in the curriculum. However, there's are many young men and women who prefer the traditional liturgy. While it is unfortunate that a place so deeply rooted in Catholic tradition has become a place for irreverence, it probably won't last long, and I pray that we soon get an archbishop that would fix many of our problems, similar to that of our first archbishop, Lamy
