I hope the devs get out in front of the - "Maybe a subscription, not sure ... possible back charges after release" thing 😂 Game looks like fantastic their wishy washy stance on pricing is a bit unnerving

always start with Coffee brother.. nicely done. i try a bit of pax dei, but its too grinding, so i stick back to soulmask game, where i can have slaves to help me to grind, and even crafting better than the main char.

This is amazing! A great work of art in the first place and there's no doubt about it but also it looks and feels like a real castle. Everything makes sense, nothing is neither too much nor too little, it's not too big (!) everything has its purpose and the whole property feels like it was built for purpose not for looks and according to the resources at hand (vs having infinite resources like in the game). Great job, I congratulate you on this masterpiece and it is by far the most realistic looking and feeling castle I have seen so far! (And if you don't mind, I will use it as inspiration ^^) One tiny advice/piece of criticism if you were indeed looking to go for most realism: really high embrasures/arrow slits like you did in the big main tower/main castle (especially if they're meant to be windows) wouldn't have been built irl bc they give away an insane amount of heat and castles were already pretty hard to keep warm (hence the installation of wooden paneling/tapestries/drapes as insulation). They look really cool but kinda take away from the realism of the rest of the castle. I apologize for the un-asked-for and maybe unwanted explanation (because you may know already yet chose to do you instead), I don't mean any offense, on the contrary...

@Red80008 Thank you, I do appreciate it! I was trying to go for realism and fantasy, but also with some artistic flare. Thank you for the suggestion, and that makes total sense for me it was just an artistic choice. There are definitely some things I would change if I were going for just realism.

Such a nice place you have there :) It is fun to build and organize the bases, but the greatest challenges are when one puts down a single plot somewhere as a clan outpost on the other side of the world and fit everything in it. But yeah, this one looks cozy and lived in.

I keep finding myself interested in this game, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet (so to speak). I constantly hear how this game is NOT for solo players... How feasible is solo play in pax dei?

@marshallmcelmurry7087 for me I've been playing solo since EA started. I feel solo us completely doable for early and mid game but I'm not sure about late game yet.

My only problem with my one plot build is that I cannot build all the way to the edges of my plot in certain places.

you dont want to build to the edge of the circle, some people can manipulate your circle if they place a plot next to you and change the shape of your circle, and destroy some of your items if theyre out of the circle... theres a guy on YT swole or something, showcasing how he does it... to imo, grief a clan he hates.

So impressed with this build! I bought the master pack as well but am very aware that I'll likely not be willing to pay the subscription at the level needed to use all 4 plots upon release, so I'm always looking for ideas on space planning for a solo player. This build is not only incredibly efficient and functional but still beautifully designed aesthetically. Great job!

Not to be rude, but they should really allow for 40 bucks to have more than 1 plot. Or just make the plot bigger. The fact they are going to make stuff that takes even more room because their goal was max level 100 will make this game and already does make this game unappealing. 3/4s the active players on steam are no longer active. A builder game where you are going to be done building less than a month in is not much of a builder game. The clans build their large bases and now have nothing to do. A person with 1 plot will obviously be in the same situation. Im not going to upgrade im just going to buy something else during this steam summer sale.

There's almost nothing implemented at the moment, of course you ran out of content. A bigger plot wouldn't change a thing and if the one plot was $20, you would still have said the same thing.

@@Derzull2468 If you are not going to try to make sense why bother replying? 1. Lets pretend the 1 plot was twice the size of the current plot. The 2 plot builds look way prettier/more appealing to the female members of our discord. 2. For 20 bucks they would have tried the game, but it was between pax dei for 40 or diablo 4 expansion. I never bought the game for 40 bucks someone bought it for me originally and they bought the 100 dollar version and a 40 dollar one later when the first one was refunded. If it was 20 bucks I would of spent my own money. Plus I know enough people who quit that are more than willing to give me their plots if I make a clan. So the problem is actually not plots for ME. It is 40 bucks having 0 appeal for new blood about 2-3 female players who rather play mindcraft than make a house that would look ugly because it is cramped...quote "It would probably look like a cheap hobbit home. They also have no colors." Hobbit home = small.

@@MrErockHiphop How is the sex of the people you interact with relevant to the discussion? The $40 gives you the whole game, forever, not just a plot. Building is only one part of the game and despite being the most polished by far, its content is still very limited. The people who are not interested in playing now would not be interested in playing, no matter the price. Sure they might have hoped in if it was free then leave as soon as they were done which would have been 2 weeks tops. Let the game cook, come back in 1 to 3 years.

@@Derzull2468 Last time I let an early access game cook it was crowfall and it died. They did not fix the problems with the game. Crowfall was miles ahead of this game in combat and content. 40 bucks does not give you the whole game forever they will have a plot subscription model very likely since they are going to run out of money. @@MrErockHiphop Your arguments are so inconsistent with each each other, I know for a fact you're not a bot. You went into an early game and got disappointed. Seems like the lesson should be to wait before you buy. Instead you're here asking for lower prices despite the fact that no matter the price, you wouldn't be happy anyway. Do you have to buy the game again when it releases? No. That means the $40 give you access to the game forever. The fact that an additional subscription exists is irrelevant. You had to buy your copy of World of Warcraft and add a subscription on top as well. This game is just no ready for you (and ev erybody else tbh), as I said, let it cook. If it becomes good, you can always hop in later and eliminate the risk that comes with buying into early access games all together, easy.

After playing other games the building is hot garbage. Having to put so many beams and support is not even closer to realism at all. My friend is a structural engineer he rage quit and refunded its so off-putting in every way.

i wish they would add NPCs that work for you even if they limited it to just 1 Helper per character, having the NPC work when your online and even when your offline, but slow the time it takes the NPC to complete that task whether your on or not. But besides all of that, this game surely is beautiful and I really hope they add everything they promise.. Im on the edge right now for purchasing the game but after watching so many builds , it makes it harder and harder to bare not building a home of my own in this amazing world

@Blubberandy thank you! It was 70 hours total from a fresh start. So that includes gathering, leveling up crafting and building.
