They nailed shadows run cycle first try. If you go to where the battle starts at 1:07 you can see that most of the frames are holding on the pose of shadow with his foot out and there's a lovely arc as he brings this leg out in this wide circle before moving to the next foot. Not only that but his body follows the motion but his head remains stable above everything, creating a clear centre line for his action. The following games make his run look really floppy. Though it is looking good (but different) in shadow generations

I hope this scene is in the 3rd movie, but the Knuckles show has me bummed out about it. They will introduce Amy, Shadow, and potentially Rouge but at the same time spend more than 50% of the runtime on human characters.

For those of you wondering, the sound mixing is only really bad on the Battle port- which is the modern day way to play. Dreamcast had a system that (forgot how it exactly worked) but automatically helped level volume which made everything bearable. When making the port they no longer had that audio system in place which made the music uncapped and louder than the voices

@@DrPowerslide_ There are mods for Linux, specifically made for the SteamDeck, if that's your issue. I haven't heard about it crashing on Windows at all, except for people using a couple of mods.

@@Kniffel101 I'm running a laptop with Windows 11, and the game doesn't seem to like it. I might need to run it with Windows compatibility settings, since I don't think it's would be a hardware issue. But playing this game on a handheld would be so cool lol, I'll need to try it soon

@@DrPowerslide_ Maybe update your GPU drivers? There's also a mod translating the API calls to DirectX 11, if nothing else works, maybe that would? Though I'd try just updating the drivers first.
