I will be 50 this year and do believe we should lead by example when our partners need encouragement to open up. Both men and women can be emotionally closed off. Personally I love a good heart to heart chat and how one topic can lead to another..moments of discovery!

This video provides a refreshing and insightful perspective on relationship compatibility. The emphasis on emotional connection and the importance of vetting a partner early on resonates deeply. It’s crucial to recognize that relationships should go beyond transactional dynamics and foster genuine emotional bonds. Thank you Jonathon for highlighting the significance of emotional IQ and the need for deeper connections, especially for those in midlife. Your advice is both practical and empowering!

Sooo good cuz, you covered so much territory via the ?? that isn't discussed like politics, spiritual and health as a vetting area. Sent this to a guy friend as your advice to a large extent applies to all. Do you know how many men are in your audience?

@@JonathonAslay men prefer women they can control and dominate rather than a partner who is self aware and mature enough to know that control and dominance dont lend itself to a long lasting relationship. Society doesnt take kindly to such women because those women arent in the best interest of the patriarchal paradigm.

Speaking as a women with 4 children. It’s not that women don’t want to have sex. It’s that they work outside the home and still have to come home and cook dinner, help with homework, was dishes, do launder, get ready for the next day. By the time you’re done, who has the energy for sex?! For the husband to say, “Well, I’ll h go look for someone who does,” is a cop out! Help the poor, exhausted woman so she CAN have the energy to have sex! How about the man helping her out a little before he decides to go have sex with other women! Sheesh! 🤦🏽♀️

Before I met my wonderful Ed, I had finally learned to love myself. So when I went on Our Time out of curiosity it was just to meet new people, get to know them and see if it could develop into something. I ONLY responded to men who initiated contact. Ed was one of the first and lived only a half hour apart so we met 3 days later. We had a very comfortable rapport and it's grown so naturally. Bottom line--let go and it will come to you. ✨💖✨

Good point on complaining about the state of affairs of the world and how it’s linked to gratitude. It’s so annoying and negative when it’s constant ! and especially when they don’t talk about what is good in their life. It’s pointless to keep talking about things out of our control when a man or woman keeps complaining I think it makes you feel like they don’t enjoy your time together…they’re just dumping How do you tell someone to stop or call them out on this behaviour ??? in a nice way haha ?
