It is because of groups like this is why I stopped playing. It feels like all my matches were like this. Even with the "matchmaking fixes" I was never able to learn because I don't have all the perks or tech concepts that make this bareable.

What I've done as a killer main is to just have fun. I don't focus on winning/losing because I know they only affect my mmr and not an actual rank or prestige system. I already have a ton of funny moments saved because of this, and I'm still relatively new to the game. Sure, I get a few of my survivors pointing towards at hooks, asking to be sacrificed, but I never fulfill those requests. I keep them in for a little longer and just go for someone else. Either help your team, stand there in one place and let your teammates laugh at you for being a inconsiderate person, or quit and give your team a bot that will actually help them. And for my fellow killer mains, make sure to never fulfill the requests of these survivors pointing at hooks. If it's a survivor beckoning you to come along just to lead you to another survivor for you to down, ignore the other survivor and down the original one and hook them. These wins don't matter much, and the fun of the game is to hunt down these survivors, not be lead to them. Do not let these survivors ruin that fun because they want to be entitled. Another thing, if you get, say, a bully squad, don't let it get to you. They want you to get upset, to get mad and angry, and you just have to shake it off. They might win and all escape, but they will lose in their true purpose, which is to make you quit the game. Remember that.

Totally understand why the content is changing. Still sad to see it go. I really enjoyed listening to your technical breakdowns of certain add-ons or perks and suggestions or critiques of various aspects of the game. Always helped me see the more in-depth side to DBD and they're some of the videos I watch the most.

BHVR is such a mixed bag. You have a great art team, you have some great licenses with surprisingly faithful adaptations, and then you have some hate-filled sociopath in the balance team who's either so wildly inept they'll implement bugs and say nothing or so wildly spiteful of the playerbase that they'll make arbitrary, hidden changes and proceed to gaslight everyone about it. Either way, there's at least one person working at BHVR whom I wish would get fired.

I clicked on this video because I wanted to see what otz dose with "bully squads". I have a bad habbit of quitting when im doing a challge for a particular killer I dont play Crow, Singularity, and The Knight. So thnaks Otz ! for your introspectivein this video.

It continues to frustrate me that BHVR HAS a Fog Whisperer program, curating a gallery of skilled, understanding, and prestigious players of DBD, and literally never consults them or even takes insight that's volunteered for them. I've completely given up playing seriously. I mess around with gimmick builds, go for 8hooks, and finish 3 players if I get them with too many gens left. If I get a bully squad, it's horrible if I win and even worse if I don't. I straight up can't recommend actually CARING about match outcomes.

i think the 1 thing knight desperately wants is better chase ai for the guards. the guards functioning like cosmic clones from mario galaxy makes them laughably bad as window trick makes it so guards will never catch u. guards should take the shortest path to the survivor. this means if the survivor runs to the window then runs right the guard simply approaches them from an angle instead of also running to the window then running to the right

That Freddy game was just a perfect example of everything wrong with swfs. Carried by crutch perks and are relentlessly toxic for no reason at all.

I think Ghostface is so low because he doesn't have a power against SWFs. in dead dawg saloon, someone can sit at the top of the saloon and snipe you out of stealth, people can also just stand behind walls and do it too. this means you only use your power mid-loops, but then a single attack ends it and the cooldown is pretty punishing.

Damn, i kinda wanted to suggest this as a "freaky Friday" challenge where you use different teachable perks on different killers as if they had swapped bodies but looks like you beat me to it. have you done this challenge with survivors?

before I even start the main part of the video I can already say you're right just from the intro. I played about 450 hours in a very short time when I got into DBD, at one point even having around 85 hours in the past 2 weeks, a feat I have NEVER been able to achieve otherwise. I went from a SWF survivor main, to a killer main, where I sunk a good amount of my hours, (including those 85 hours in 2 weeks) but the game got to the point where survivors were not only hard to beat, but extremely toxic, tea bagging and whatnot, and after switching back to survivor, where me and my friends still got dominated (and it became an inside joke that for whatever reason, I would get tunneled in 99% of games) I ended up quitting and I've barely touched the game again and now only play against bots. It's sad, I clearly loved the game but the fear of getting absolutely destroyed and mocked, as well as the broken state of the game and OP perks really stops me from playing killer any time soon
