Its all about finesse with the hand saws. The trick is letting it work without killing you.

Too bad you didnt bring some plastic sheeting to save the sawdust. Could have been something to just have stored away for another adventure as something easy to start a fire with for a Ferro rod or another type of striker for a fire starting kit... Maybe an idea for next time? I have the same saw, I cut through some hickory the other day, like crazy... It was very pleasant to the nose to...

Had a nearly new Kawa.750 turbo '84, Superb planted high speed travel. No bike Kawasaki for 27 years, March 19 got a very very healthy 05 GSF Bandit 650 inj., turns out 58, 59 times more biking joy, than the turbo WOOSH, heard first production bike any size, to do the Standing quarter mile in 10 seconds,. mine got 161mph. Much rather have Quickly call up 80 mph, in 2nd gear ,FANCY. As my B.T.E. PhD Masters Degree in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, taught me, can do without top end speeds, ALL ABOUT THE ACCELERATION. yours sincerely Scott Loch. Na, Professor Bandit B.T.E.650 inj. out.

Nice Video, I just got a 2000 vs1400 and it came to me with NO mufflers, I ordered the cobra slash slipons, I keep hearing this bike is tough to tune without the stock pipes, have you had any issues with these pipes and did you have to retune anything and how do they perform? TY

How do the eyebolt connections with the sled last? Would it be too much of stress for the sled during very cold days?

Still going strong and I've used this in -20 degree weather

Still going strong and that's after using it in -20 degree weather. The plastic on the sled is very tough.

Although I have a different brand sled (Jet Sled - not quite as thick as Pelican), I can tell you, after two winter camping trips - one year pulling approx. 85 lbs. of gear and last year pulling approx. 120 lbs. of gear over a 16 mile backcountry terrain, using nothing but knots in a rope through a hole in the sled, NO problem at all. And that included a couple day of sub-zero temps. Not a single sign of any wear after approx. 32 miles of pulling, most of which was unpacked trails through 2-3 feet of snow, including going through brush and over logs. Bottom line: these sleds are VERY durable.
