Thank you very much, it helped a lot to understand I would just like to understand that it is possible to load this card with more money and transfer it to each ride ? do i need a new card to make a one day card or do i need to load the same card
@travellingwithreneАй бұрын
hi, you can use the same card to top up the money. but if you want to buy a one day pass, you need to go to the booth to ask the staff. please subscribe for more, thank you.
Love the attention to detail.. I would look for a local handyman to do the cleanup and finishing work... the water coming inside is serious.. you need to get that resolved.. ASAP. Good Luck... I subscribed just to see how it comes out for you..

Every country I can think of with a large expat population (usually Brits) has horror stories around building contractors. Greece, Spain, Italy, Thailand and the list goes on. There is usually a dodgy developer in the mix, employing anyone who can lift a hammer then making himself scarce when people want to know wtf is going on with their purchase. Here in Oz, we are reaping the rewards of decades of little or no oversight over developers and building companies,. The '1 Euro' houses in Sicily have usually turned out to be money pits, even when someone with the funds to see it through gets a decent team of builders together. Lorraine Bracco had HGTV holding her hand when she got teary, but she got the Sicilian home she wanted after months on a roller coaster.

seems it's hard to find a good contractor
@miguelgoncalves99522 ай бұрын
That's the very ugly truth here, one can trust no one in this country to do the job properly. Everything they touch (...the so called professionals...) turns into a disaster in no time, so that you have more costs and be dependent on them. I speak by own experience...better one do the job instead of letting others here do it claiming an exponential exaggerated price for their sh**y job...

Hi Rene thanks for sharing . Did you have a lawyer apply a NIF for you ? Thanks for sharing . Can I DM you ? Is WhatsApp ok?
I've live in both Spain and Portugal. When you buy a new build, most of them don't include light fittings, so just a wire dangling from the ceiling. That's actually normal. Things like light fittings or the sink, they are cosmetic (personal style) items so unless you have provided them the items, they won't be included. The gap under the window is just a simple filling with foam, that won't take long to do. And with the construction rubbish, unless you have provided them with a skip, they can only dump them in the garden. Unless, everything was written in the contract, including all the small details. I actually agree with the contractor that it's almost finish and ready for you to do your own last personal touch.

I had the lights, sink, water tap, doors and all other things in the apartment already, they just do not install them!! I pay them to throw all rubbish, it's in the contract.

Ooops l do know the Portuguese do not like to throw anything away !!!.

I renovated a place in Spain while living in Hong Kong and everything was perfect, if you get a professional team, you wont have that problem, but there are no professional teams in Portugal!!
Very nice! Major plus is also that the videos are relatively short! Thank you for sharing your exciting life with people!

Well done, but... in New York, you simply buy your ticket and can travel (mostly) the whole subway system. We missed our stop in Porto and was warned by a security guard that we did not scan our ticket when departing. Huh? What is that? You didn't cover that in your otherwise excellent video. Thanks.

this video is about metro in Lisbon. Maybe when next time I go to Porto, I make another video about Porto as well.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have to take your luggage with you on the metro and have it with you by your seat? Or is there a special area to put it?

Thank you so much for this video it’s so helpful. Can you do one showing tourist how to get from Lisbon airport to Porto? Do you need to buy the ticket for the train from Orient to Porto ahead of time or can you buy it when you get there?
@travellingwithrene6 ай бұрын
weekdays, you can buy it right away, if for weekend or holiday, I would say you can buy ahead
