Unfortunately this set just gives me issues. Power Amp stage was (i believe) wrongly biased and always distorting, had it repaired, noise floor and PSRR is fucking horrible, lots of noise and mains hum. Can doesn’t match the amps power, blew one woofer after 20 minutes with the master 12 o clock. Cannot recommend even tho the sound would be somewhat decent. This is really just chinese crap.

At your website I see 2 speaker outputs at the back and I see 2 speaker jacks. Are the jacks for the 12” driver and the horn respectively? Does it output a full 300w? Am looking for a good practice combo and I like the warm sound of Ashdown. TQ!

Great sound quality but bulky as a headphone connection as the battery does not last anywhere near 2 hrs so best ro plug in. The blutooth connection has high inteference. There are better options for headphone amps.

Don't let Ashdown's incredibly terrible gear demos put you off. The amps really are decent, despite what you are seeing and hearing here.

Great playing and the sound of the amp speaks for itself, but I would have enjoyed a walk through on all the features of the amp.

I’ve bought one less than 3 years ago, used it mainly for home practise, and an occasional small / short gig and it was great, really lovely sound, so easy to carry. But had a longer/louder gig and at the very end of our last song, it cut out completely. Looks like the speaker broke. Luckily still under warranty, so the shop where I bought it from sent it back to the manufacturer. I’m quite upset about it, it shouldn’t have happened…

I love the concept of this amp! I use a 2 Notes Le Bass preamp to get that tube grit, warmth, and sag (bass -> preamp pedal -> amp input). How well does the RG respond to effect pedals?

What is the internal voltage of the pedal?

Things I hate about these heads. 1 - Flat/shape button should be off in the out position. Pressing a button to have the natural sound is confusing and adds unnecessary components into the signal path. 2 - DI on the front. Should be on the back. 3 - Tuner out on the front. Should be on the back. 4 - Line out on the front. Should be on the back. 5 - Octave down is gimmicky. 6 - Compressor is gimmicky. 7 - Sliders and pots feel lose and flimsy. 8 - No real documentation of how the input level should be set and what the consequences of over driving it are. 9 - No real documentation on how the input level and valve drive work in combination and whether the input can be driven higher when valve drive is on. 10 - Needs better quality silent fans. I replaced mine with better fans and it is better. You should work on a sleek no compromise version of the ABM that is more like an old Acoustic Bass amp.
