hi question, do you play every damage card in a sequence or do you only play the damage cards that you put down on the same turn for damage calculation? i remember seeing in the trailer that they reveal 4 damage cards despite only playing 2 with 1 on it so im a bit confused. it doesnr help that the manual has 0 play examples whatsoever

Thanks for the video. I'd just like to say it would easier to follow and grasp if all sections had a bit of silence between them + a longer/more recongizable visual transition. Right now it is a bit of a waterfall of sentences and since I'm already trying hard to understand the game, it becomes a whole another unexpected task to recognize where one topic starts and another ends... I had to pause and go back a lot, instead of just pausing on the transitions and finishing my thought, then moving on. :)

So it's a combo of Clue and Mafia/Werewolf/Town of Salem? Interesting idea, but looks WAY too complicated, I think even Triple S Games would have a hard time explaining it. It's neat that this theming was used for the first Cluedo 2023 DLC though, Black Adder Resort.

Okay my set did not come with any of these things, it was the sunless city core set and did not come with a fog gate

I remember following the original boardgame when it came out, but I never ended up getting it. I recently started looking it up again, and that's when I learned that there are now multiple core sets, and that the original isn't really for sale anymore. Can all sets be combined with expansions, or other sets? I got a bit confused about learning that there are multiple sets, rather than making them expansions to the original base game

Just ordered this game and glad to find a review that gives good insight into the game without spoiling any of the content. I've always been a big fan of RuneScape, and coop board games, so I'm even more excited for the game to come in and get to play it after watching your video!

Comparing the old core set with this new Sunless City set like this: Old game/New game Minis: 27/18 Dice: 15/15 Game boards: 9/4 Character boards: 4/3 (and the new ones are worse too) Cards and tokens: many/many (the important bits are above) Yes, there are some bits and pieces in the new game that weren't in the old one but there were literal metric fucktons of things in the old game that aren't in the new one. And the new one even costs more... The other two new core sets at least had new content in terms of enemies and bosses etc. This one is outrageously stupid.

Can you play multiple power cards in a row?(Eg.: Playing power card "Draw 3" and 1 of the 3 cards that are picked up is another power card the "Play 2 cards", can you play the second power card and play 2 extra turns?)
