Do I need to have some sort of a license in order to walk with metal detextor in swiss?

Every canton has different rules. And yes all need a license. It is the land of rules. If you need any advice just let me know

Thanks, i want a detector without machine noise would like to hear only 2 sounds from the machine , good targets and iron sounds. which from the two would you say has less chatter where i would have a more pleasant search without being tired of hear chatter? thanks
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures14 күн бұрын
The Manticore in my opinion makes more noise than the deus. Especially on mineralised ground. I enjoy using the Deus more with the sounds than the manticore.
@mase20215 күн бұрын
awesome video! looks like a year has passed what is your current opinion about the manticore? and which do you prefer as of today . thanks
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures15 күн бұрын
Both have their strengths and weaknesses. I don't like the way you have to charge the coil on the Deus. I also don't like the thin wire you have to attach to the machine to be able to use it underwater. The Manticore charges really easily and is all in one. However I have a different experience to most with these machines as we have to dig everything including iron where I am to keep the licence. So I have noticed that the deus is a bit more accurate with saying when something is good. If you have a hole with iron as well as a good item the manticore can get badly confused. The deus also at times but not so often. You hear the grunt of iron but a louder sound for a good metal also. Each to their own. I prefer the Deus on open fields and I have had crazy luck on beaches with it but not using the settings advised. The manticore is a solid beach machine. I like it. Both are very good.

Which coil are u using an how did you know which head works on
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures2 ай бұрын
I have a few different heads. The stock coil. A small coil and the biggest one that looks like a satellite dish but makes the machine quite unbalanced. Mostly I preferred using the stock coil that came with it. Although I have a lot of machine I still rate the Kruzer as an excellent metal detector

How do you clean up your pre decimal penny's as last Sunday I dug up 1106 of them from the same hole on my local beach.
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures2 ай бұрын
That is incredible that you found so many. I know people tumble them. Some use lemon juice or coke to clean them. But I actually like the patina on them.
@jazzy2009712 ай бұрын
@@NathanielOutdoorAdventures out off 1106 coins only about 20 were half decent but the rest are a mess. I've kept them out off any liquid as I was going to try a dry tumbler to try and knock off all the green thats on them. The half decent ones I've cleaned and they look like gold coins now

Loved the vid. Was tossing up between the Manticore and the Deus 2 but after hearing the sounds/tones of the Deus 2 I’m going the Manticore. To me it sounds like someone rubbing their hands on a balloon over and over again. Not for me haha
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures4 ай бұрын
Lol. Never thought of that but you could be right. The Manticore is a mighty machine. Enjoy
@richardkotz75614 ай бұрын
Don't let the negative and abusive comments bother you. There are a lot of shallow people that exist that will fly off the handle if you are not in total alignment with their views and beliefs. It's the very reason why we don't exist in a perfect world, and never will. Keep up the good work. I've learned a lot from you. I first ran across your videos when searching the pros and cons of the xp dues 2 vs the manticore. After all my research, I'll probably go with the manticore as it seems to have a better screen and does not seem to be quite as complicated operationally as I'm basically a beginner. The deus operations remind me of the old casio wrist watches. They will make you nuts trying to navigate their system.
@NathanielOutdoorAdventures4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes I think the Manticore is a bit easier to use. And the charging is great with the magnetic lead. Just don't lose yourself with the screen as its not always accurate. I really enjoy using both machines
