Is there any way to enhance the mute while at the same time not hindering the overall sound quality too much? I live in an apartment and really need to have a very good mute. I tried doing this myself but can't quite get the perfect balance just yet. It's either too loud or the sound quality is average and some notes played at mf sound pp and some mp

I would mind a little sustain, but very good!

Would be easier if the tool fit tighter on the pins.

So you put the support on the side that you want to move the jack towards, and then you hit the top of the jack?

Hello. I have big problem. Piano key when pressed doesnt want to 'get up' anymore. It started after spilled some liquids between these two notes. I opened piano and tried to grind wood to make it smaller but nothing. When I move nearest right key, it works.

Seems like it may be easy to have the tuning lever tip wrench a little wonky snd damage the tuning lever. Use causion when doing this

1:00 Here’s an update: a few months later I got a call from the client that the buzz came back. I ended up returning to her home and removing and twisting each bass string (for free). No small expense on my part as it took 2 to 3 hours, but it was the right thing to do. So in short, the lowering and raising of the pitch temporarily got rid of the buzz, but it was not a permanent fix. When I was done with the job the second time, I told her that if the buzzes come back again that the next step would be to replace all of the base strings, and quoted her a four digit price. I haven’t heard from her again, so I am really, not sure if the buzzes have returned once more, but at least she is now empowered with the correct information, and you and I have all learned something in the process!

Nice work. Thanks for providing the opportunity to watch a full piano tuning. I am just getting started as a tuner and it's been a huge learning experience every time. I do prefer the sound of using electronic tuning apps though. I'm not sure I like this temperament, but your skills are certainly better than mine on unisons.

I’ve read about this method and others like it. Can someone please explain why we tune F3 to the fork, then tune A4 to that? The matching beats etc makes sense but the WHY alludes me! Cheers
