I looked online and couldn't find the answer. Does the new R5MkII have Fv mode? For me it's better than Manual mode and it's the only mode I shoot in.
@siemworks70783 күн бұрын
With the original R5, you could save a certain video setting on the C3 custom mode. This video mode would be used when you press video in the photo mode. Really useful for Hybrid shooting. Is this still possible with te R5 II?

Hey Canon, how do we confirm if we have been one of the first 1000 preorders and is this Australia wide or per store? Thanks

Beautiful video. His advice is sound. It's sad that these days it can be expensive to see the milky way, but it is worth it. And if you shoot astro, the best advice is definitely to go out and shoot and shoot.

At 4:20 Noriaki clearly states he asks people if he can take photos of them and they gladly accepted. The very idea of asking is very difficult for so many younger photogs is sad. Instead they trespass to take photos, they jump fences and open gates to take photos, they ignore signs and rules to take photos which invariably makes people upset at everyone that has a camera. ...and all you have to do is ask politely.

I use an EF 35mm f/2.0 IS USM on my 1Ds MKII and on my EOS R the RF 35mm f/1.8 STM. The world from a 35mm perspective is amazing its almost the only lens you'll need. Almost.

That's a big production for the final product to look so meh. Terrible lighting and so over saturated color grade, looked like a production from late 90's/early 2000's Nickelodeon. Not to mention the horrible editing and complete lack of any coherent narrative. Thankfully this camera has such an impressive spec sheet, otherwise it would have suffered a similar fate as the EVA1 from a terrible launch film

I always have a strap on my camera, and that always goes around my neck or on my shoulder, unless the camera is on a tripod or a studio stand.

Just returned from Sydney recently for the 2nd time. One of the most photogenic cities in the world I've had the pleasure to visit and capture with my Canon gear. One can aim the camera in almost any direction, day or night, and be assured of a memorable capture. I appreciate your tips and insights.

I do ok with city scapes, but when i use my Tokina 11-20 2.8 for night outdoor scenes with stars, Milky Way, i ALWAYS get a red dot on the side of each star, generally the same size as each hiven star. Great pics otherwise, but Super frustrating. Any ideas?
