No, these two are Skerry Raid, the smaller sister of the Guider. I also would love to test a Guider, but to my knowledge none have been built in Europe so far.

@@emmanuelconrath2794 Yes I should have realized from the tiller arrangement, There is an amateur built GUIDER available here on the East Coast, Etats Unis. Il faut l'evaluer! The Silmaril looks fabulous!

Il suffit de dépolir la surface et on colle à l'epoxy. Ces pièces collées ne sont pas soumises à de gros efforts, on ne prend pas de risques.

Les 15 noeuds sont ceux du vent, le bateau marche à 5-6 noeuds au GPS, donc 7-8 noeuds sur l'eau a contre courant.

15 noeuds, ça décoiffe ... même une barbe comme la tienne, Emmanuel ! 😂 Il y a peu, dans la vidéo du challenge Naviguer léger 2023, tu disais qu'il était agréable de naviguer à 4 nœuds par un mètre de fond. Là, à 15 nœuds et plus de fond, ce sont probablement d'autres sensations ! Plus fortes et à cette allure, la vigilance est de rigueur. PS : heureux de voir qu'entre deux chantiers le Morbihan t'offre de merveilleux moments de récompense ...

Same here at a standard Goat: no chance to get inside from the side. It capsized each time when climbing in. My solution: Step on the daggerboard and climb in as long as she is rightened. Unfortunately there is a lot of water inside that makes the boat very tippy. So lowering the sail while bailing would help.

My own method is to free the halyard before righting the boat: the sail stays in the water and the boat is much more stable once righted, without the sail weighing and flapping above.

Hyper content. Par rapport au standard, il est plus puissant, plus stable et plus rapide avec ses trois voiles. Et le petit supplément de longueur me permet de dormir à bord : 2 m entre les cloisons 2 et 4.

@@philoulabroche2808 Longueur 5.08 m, largeur 1.60 m, et oui, je l'ai testé seul avec toutes ses voiles. Elles sont toutes bômées, donc le virement de bord est facile. Ce qui l'est moins, c'est de sortir ou rentrer le foc ou l'artimon en mer, mais j'y arrive.

Would love to see this in real life condotions, with wind and waves which would causd the capsize in the first place. Sorry to say this but it seems to me that those folks would be in lot of trouble if the boats keep falling on the other side when righted

Le N°1 est basé à Jablines-Anet. Visible aussi au Lac du Der le second weekend d'octobre (participe au rassemblement "Entre Terre Der") avec quelques autres. Le N°9 est basé à Ambleteuse, plus être plus près de chez vous. Dites-moi si vous souhaitez être mis en contact.
