A desktop is on average 3 to 5 times more powerfull for half the price, and the ABSOLUTE max for performance on laptops is half of a desktop. So professionals who need all that, work on a desktop with the OS/Software that makes their work possible /efficient, maybe log in remote on desktop. Gaming on a laptop ? I never see that! Do you ? Most of the gaming is done on a game console/device or a desktop. And what about COLOUR ???? Yes it hurts my delicate sense of manhood to say this out loud.... but half the population picks a laptop on how it looks.... So.... REAL TALK !: 99% is as follows : Gadged-Whannahaves (GW), Cash-Out (CO) (money spend right now) and corporate. GW -> 1200 euro and more. You are well off and want to spend it on stuff you probably don't need. In 2 years time you want a newer laptop, so for karma you give the old one to someone who really cannot afford one (no not your child !, a poor student, or a one parent family ! ) PBWY ! CO -> Between 500 and 1200 euro's.... (this is almost everybody) These laptops all work fine. A) Just walk into a store ? Guarantee you will pay to much! B) Spend a little bit more? -> it will last longer (This is where you save money / and you will have a better experience from the start.) Your child will tell you you need the most expensive, but in reality... 500 euro's works also fine. So prepare and don't forget about colour ! If you suck at this.....ask an IT inclined friend to research this for you (and tell him/her about colour) If you want an Apple? You wanted this since you were 12. I have nothing for you...just buy it ! 🙂 Just my 2 cents. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.

I'm still so confused. I don't know much about any of this stuff. I tried to follow best I could and what I did learn is how if my pc can't keep up with the monitor I get then it's pointless... hence, my confusion. I just bought the Skytech Archangel 4. I started looking into monitor videos wanting to get a ultra wide big monitor but now I'm not sure. I don't know what my pc is capable of .. of those choices you mentioned between TN n VA and all that. I got the PC for gaming, editing... creating filters, lenses.. movies hopefully. I am just more confused than ever now. PLEASE... if u see this... what would be the best monitor for my skytech archangel 4? I'll worry about size after that.
