I have a question: I want to upgrade a HP 6300 PRO MT, with a i5-3470, 16 gb ram (4x4) ddr3 1600mhz, a SATA SDD of 120GB and a 1TB HDD, and a MSI GTX 1650 SUPER GAMING X, my question is, This adapter will work? i guess the psu of that computer is 320w and hp certifie that this PSU is higher eficent en energie consumpt, so, it will work? PD: Sorry for my bad english

Yes, when bare copper is exposed to the elements it's will oxidize to a greenish/black color. That has the possibility of staining you skin. It can be avoided by putting a clear coat finish on the copper prior to wearing any of the jewelry

Can I ask why you didn't just cut a band from the ring and just use that rather that flattening and reshaping it, or is it purely due to the diameter of the pipe?

You have to ask yourself though, why does a regular 6 pin have 3 yellow wires (12v) and 3 black wires (ground) and I am only using 2 of each wires? Some people even cobble together an adapter where only 1 yellow wire is used. The PCIe slot can deliver 75 watts, so if a GPU has a 6 pin connector, or especially an 8 pin, then it's a higher wattage GPU (some well over 200 watts) and will suck quite a bit of current (amps). PSUs have several built in safety devices, but as long as the total power output isn't exceeded the PCU will not shut down. Thus, it can't tell the difference if the load is coming from the device via adequate number of wires, or a red hot single or double wire on fire because it can't handle the current. The wire basically becomes a resistor and gets hot AF. If you know what you are doing it's fine to make your own adaptors. If not, bad things can happen.

Couldn’t you just sliced the pipe instead of all that extra work cutting it heating I making a sheet and strips? There is different pipe diameters 🤔.
